An off-duty Massachusetts police officer threatened to shoot a driver in the head for committing a minor traffic violation.
You'd think these cops would have learned something during the witch hunt over the last couple years. But then again, I guess that's why they're cops.
Yeah, they aren't a crazy expensive investment either. Just a couple hundred bucks... hmmmVideos like this make me more and more convinced that it's time for a dash cam of my own. Think about it- if this cam didn't exist, there would be absolutely nothing done to this dickhead officer. He'd have his narrative, his buddies would protect it, and the driver would have to just accept the fact that he was threatened with impunity by a raging maniac hiding behind a badge.
These videos are the equalizers. Getting this thrown up on CNN is the ultimate way to protect yourself against these assholes and keep them accountable.
Glad to hear they are going after that cop. Put him in the general public.Meanwhile, at the University of Cincinnati...
Police officer involved in deadly Cincinnati shooting indicted for murder
If 6-10 highly armed people entered your house late at night and you as a single individual responded with gunfire, it wouldn't matter if they were cops or not, you'd be a dead dumbass.I'd be dead if cops raided my house in the middle of the night.
Yes, that is what happened and there's body cam footage of it. A jury will have to figure out if the cop is a murderer or if he responded to an imminent threat of grave bodily harm or death. It'll be tough because he is about to be dragged by the car but it doesn't actually happen until after the shot. The question that is brought up will be how much harm must befall an officer before he can shoot.Cincinnati video - is what I think happened that the cop shoots him in the head while Dubose is in the car what happened?

Meanwhile, the prosecutor calls the initial stop for the missing license plate a chicken shit stop. Gotta wonder how any officer is supposed to know which of the laws the legislature passes the officer should enforce and which ones are just chicken shit.

That's fine. I wasn't debating the point. Or excusing the action.Um, I watched the body cam footage and there is absolutely NO indication that the cop is about to be "dragged'. Ever. He's on the side of the car, not remotely attached to the car in any way, and the car was NOT moving. It only moved after he put a bullet in the guys' head from a foot away and his dead, lifeless body leaned forward, causing enough pressure on the pedal to make the car slowly roll forward 100 feet.
It's murder. It's murder in every sense of the word. If you can't watch this video and decide that it's murder, then you're basically saying that there's no actual standard for which a cop can be held for murdering someone. They have a total license to kill.
HIs buddy should also be investigated since he clearly lied in the police report and claimed he "saw" this cop being "dragged" and only after this, he was "forcged" to lodge a bullet into his head.
This officer experienced no harm, prior to blowing the guys brains out.Yes, that is what happened and there's body cam footage of it. Is it typical for campus police to be making these kinds of stops?Yes, that is what happened and there's body cam footage of it. I had to put this question in another response so as to not confuse the issue. Not related to this particular instance but in general, how much harm must befall someone before they are justified in defending themself with deadly force? Was he smoking a cigarette though?

LOL, I actually only meant to ask the last question. I thought I had erased the first two lines.I had to put this question in another response so as to not confuse the issue. I thought about that myself. Problem is I don't which companies are the most prominent...should ask some of my LEO friends.http://gizmodo.com/taser-profits-jumped-57-percent-thanks-to-sales-of-poli-1721066819
I think now would be a great time to invest in some of these body cam companies. More and more police departments are picking them up.
