Im just tired of police abusing their power. Happy to see these videos surfacing and actually starting to make a change. These cop killings are definitely a scary trend, one that I hope stops soon.

Unarmed? Looks to me like she has two of them like most of the rest of us.
Seriously though, I've posted my fair share of these, but it was clear that she tried to attack/punch/swat that second officer. As she's rolling around like a pig on the spit, it's not clear to me whether he intentionally aimed for her face or if he was trying to grab her arm or pin her down harder.
Edit - just read the article. I don't know, to me it was clear that she was attacking the officer; but, the article also makes it clear that the entire arrest was unwarranted. I guess that's why they dropped the charges on her - hoping that she would just go away. The still in the article also clearly shows the closed fist, so I hope she gets her payday.

Can someone post something about the growing problem with officers arbitrarily shooting pets instead of using animal control?
I, for one, don't see a problem with it. In fact, there should be a new law that managers of Lowe's, Home Depot, Publix, etc. have the right to shoot any dog riding in a shopping cart in their store.

I shall rephrase as people are cherry-picking ideas these days. I'm meaning where dogs are shot inside people's homes, for no reason, before anyone is charged with any crime. There are dogs that are shot simply because an officer is in pursuit of a suspect and cuts through a yard...with a big-ass "beware of dog" sign. Happens quite a bit.
St. Pete had this issue a few years back, but the police chief put some policies in place to correct it. They shot 7 dogs back in 2011.

They found in Crestview and Fort Walton, FL it was "advised" to do so as to not incur costs in involving animal control. It was unofficial policy to shoot first.

Honestly, f*ck this kid. I don't defend shit cops but this is ridiculous. The kid was in a fight; the cops are there assuming this kid is still hyped up and his hands were in close proximity to the officers firearm.
