Forget attractive. Think about the monies. This is why I'm advocating for Old Dominion as an expansion candidate for the AAC. Lots of moneys (and ties to congress) in there.
LOL. Funny, but don't underestimate that statement. Money is (and has been) shifting away from the broadcast market. Schools that know this are investing heavily into their Tier 3 rights.
Key things:
* Boren said we were going to investigate expansion, so it forced us to do this mockery.
* Without Oklahoma and Texas we're the MWC
* We're lucky to be P5, I'm going to do whatever I need to keep us in this position
* All expansion candidates would have been like BC or Rutgers
* No candidates were better than ISU (which is really funny) and so would dilute the brand

Clearly you missed ISU AD saying they would be MWC if Texas and Oklahoma left. Many sport writers are asking the same question I did.
