Delay the election.

Yeah I don’t think he was the one 85 is talking about since he does make a lot of good points. I recall 2 younger doctors. There was also some study that made 85 think half the population had already had the virus by March. It’s hard to remember exactly but I’m sure he will enlighten us.

It was exactly him as well

Yeah it was months ago so I don’t remember exactly what beef 85 had with me at the time. I just remember trying to convince him that half the population hadn’t already been infected with coronavirus. Seems like it went on for a month or so. And it was a study by doctors (good study actually). When I disagreed with his conclusion (half the population already had it) in favor of the actual conclusion (between <1% and half already had it with half ruled out due to empirical evidence) he fell into his “how dare you question a doctor” routine. Which apparently continues to this day with demon jizz doctors that tell him what he wants to hear.

Never once did I say that half the world had ever been infected. Feel free to show me otherwise if you can. I was talking generally about the Oxford University modeling study which by the way, happens to be where the leading vaccine candidate in the world is now coming out of.

Around the same time time you also personally swiped at me for saying that I wasn’t liquidating all of my positions (you are also a master investor) and riding the shitty stock market wave, which has now proven to be exactly the right call since my entire portfolio is recovered from March.

Then I guess we were in agreement all along. My bad. Maybe it was someone else I was conversing with on that (SDK maybe?). Again it was months ago. But for some reason I was wrong because I wasn’t a doctor about something. Just don’t remember what I guess.

Maybe it was your debate with Alex Berenson

Constitutional law expert Laurence Tribe was interviewed on Friday by MSNBC’s Joy Reid on “The ReidOut.” Tribe, who has taught at Harvard Law for fifty years and argued dozens of cases before the U.S. Supreme Court offered an intriguing theory Reid suggested had cheered up many of her viewers. Reid asked Tribe about President Donald Trump talking about trying to delay the November election as he trails former Vice President Joe Biden in the polls.

“They’re trying to make it look chaotic but there’s a fail-safe mechanism built into the constitution itself,” Tribe said. “No matter how much dust he throws into the gears, at high noon on January 20th, 2021, if there has not been a new president elected, at that point, Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House becomes president of the United States.”

Tribe explained that “all of the enablers at that point would risk committing federal felonies if they were to exercise power, which they no longer have, because Trump would no longer be president.”

“That’s the fail-safe. The constitution is not designed to self-destroy but it’s designed to self-preserve,” he explained. “There’s every reason to believe that the new Congress is going to be in Democratic hands. So I wouldn’t, at this point, play Trump’s game of throwing up our hands and saying ‘there will be no winner, Trump is going to win by default.’ He can’t really do it,” Tribe noted. “The default solution in our system is President Nancy Pelosi — and I can think of worse things than that.”

If Biden refuses to debate, Trump should postpone the election until January 1.

Yeah, let's start a precedent of having the sitting president postponing elections, what could possibly go wrong? Not that he has the authority to do it anyway.

You didn't catch the tongue-in-cheek part of that?

I think its much more likely that Biden will opt out of the debates than Trump delaying the election.

Tongue and cheek isnt easy to catch these days because there are more than a few people out there who probably actually think that would be a great idea.

I could see Trump throwing that out there if Biden does refuse to debate just to draw attention to it, but he'd never follow through.

Trump has an unfair advantage because 90% of what he says is flat out bullshit and in a debate there is no real time fact checking. The beauty of this strategy for him is his base doesn’t care. If it sounds good then he won the debate.
He's a terrible debater. Thats what makes the whole premise so ridiculous. If he has an "unfair advantage" over Biden then we should all be looking for a 3rd party candidate.

He's a good large format debater. He can grab the headline in a big field, that's why he stopped debating when the primary got down to Cruz and Rubio. One on one he gets exposed. However, nobody really wins or loses a presidential debate until you Eff up in a big way, which rarely happens. There is just too much spin after the debate. Trump is counting on a major slip up by Biden in the debates which I've never seen happen.

Yo! Semites. Delay the election until we get someone who isn't ridden with dementia running for POTUS.

The best way to prevent fraud is blood samples and DNA matching but thats a pretty extreme measure for a small problem.

The real problem is voter supression. But suppressing the vote is a winning move for the GOP. Republicans know this and its why they are desperately trying to keep poor ex felons from voting in Florida when there is no reason for it and the people of Florida voted for it.

Fraud is like a tiny percent of the issue. 100 people are suppressed for every fraudulent vote.
The Orange idiot and the RNC have a law suit against Nevada already re mail in ballots. And the brainless cheeto has slowed down the mail on purpose already (first hand accounts).

You're going to have to explain this one because I'm pretty sure nobody here or anywhere has a clue what it is that you see. Trump was equally bad in the primary debates as he was in the general election debates. Biden did terrible in all of this cycles primary debates regardless of how many people were on stage. For that matter, we've only ever seen Biden in a one-on-one debate twice, and he came across as a complete asshole last time.
