I think Barbara Bush taking a steaming hot dump on Trump from beyond the grave is thread worthy. The article is full of priceless gems.

Wow, this bitch hated Trump more than me. She kept a countdown clock on her nightstand and brought it with her when she moved. I mean damn that woman hated Trump, I can respect that.
I can too. I still feel her pain with this con-artist, lying sexual predator in office. Did I mention he's a Criminal also?

Trump 2020 is going to look like Reagan 1984. But you'll still have this thread to comfort you.

A sexual predator is a person seen as obtaining or trying to obtain sexual contact with another person in a metaphorically "predatory" or abusive manner. Analogous to how a predatorhunts down its prey, so the sexual predator is thought to "hunt" for his or her sex partners. People who commit sex crimes, such as rape or child sexual abuse, are commonly referred to as sexual predators

Why don’t we now watch a few clips and movies of Auschwitz and compare our President to Nazis and Hitler.

I bet at least some of the victims and relatives of concentration camps victims wouldn’t appreciate that

I’m sorry, but comparing anyone but maybe ISIS to Nazis is way over the top.

Trump is not a Nazi.
He’s not Hitler.
He’s not a sexual predator
He’s not a criminal

Those statements are just over the top and irresponsible

Ok..., people don’t like Trump. I get it, but no need to just talk foolishness

Agree to disagree I guess.

The lefties are in a different orbit right now. Their worlds are so destroyed by the Mueller report not confirming their concriacy that they’re literally raving mad.

But without our institutions in place who knows how far he would push it
Probably pretty far, but what’s best for America. We would have a Wall by now for starters. Government has become too big. That’s why nothing ever gets done and Trump became president as voted fair and square by the American people.

Too much “politics” and he’s not a politician.

Don’t take this as me wanting a dictator in office either.

not to derail a thread with some good Barbara zingers(may she RIP) but Trump to me is more similar to former Latin American Authoritarian Despots or Italy's Silvio Berlusconi based on his behavior and actions so far. But without our institutions in place who knows how far he would push it

I can agree with this although I don't think you should limit this to Trump. If you're being honest, this would probably be true for any leader of a country.

As far as the President is concerned, any President that's issued an executive action would be a good example. Or the infamous Pelosi statement on the ACA, "we must pass it to see what's in it" is another good example of the way our leader's think. All those narcissistic a-holes think they know what's better for us than we do.

The greatest overstep of constitutional power that we've actually had in recent history is when Obama in 2014 quite literally decided to make his own immigration law by EO, knowingly violate the fact that the power to make immigration law that falls only to Congress, then basically challenge them to sue him to overturn the EO if they didn't like it.

Liberals are wetting themselves over this Nat Emergency and while it's a dumb idea, it's really just trying to reprogram money to uphold a law that has already been passed by Congress. Imagine if Trump did what Obama did and started passing his own laws by EO and single handedly resetting entire legislative policy on his own?

the russian triggering has been legendary. 2 years in the making

Be careful. What goes around, comes around.

I will grant you that Barr set the tone with his letter and it is now highly doubtful that Trump will be ran out of office before 2020.

But Barr never said that the Muehler Report didn't contain any documented evidence of obstruction of justice. In fact Barr specifically mentioned that there was "evidence on both sides" to avoid having his letter look like a massive fraud. So when the report finally sees the light of day, it will be interesting. :)

But I've come to believe that Barr may have done the Democrats a favor. The less that the Dems spend on the Muehler Report and the more time they spend on the issues that really matter to the American people, the better their chances are of winning back the WH in 2020.

Two House Democrats staged an extremist rally in front of the Capitol yesterday, demanding the impeachment of Trump and choosing to believe in conspiracy theories and finding Mueller's report a "cover up".

Yea, they're really moving on alright. [roll]

you know what is funny, that is the exact same advice i would give to you.

trump is one of the most petty people in this world and he just happens to be president right now. obama did a lot of shady stuff like using the irs to go after conservative groups. do you really think that trump is above that? do you think he might try and get the fbi/doj to start some investigations of his own? lololololololol

dear god, can you at least learn how to spell mueller properly? i know you are still holding out hope for some sort of bombshell to drop, but i dont think its coming. with all the leaks weve seen for the past 2 years, i think we would know about one by now.

not to mention the common person is going to see that the left went after trump hard for 2 years and came up with nothing. lest we forget the brett kavanaugh hearings. several of the left wing talk shows have seen their ratings plummet this week. i think i read somewhere fox's numbers, which are already top, went up more. i think all this terribly negative coverage is going to come back and bite the dems hard. assuming the economy is still good, i think a red wave is coming in 2020.

The "common person" saw five senior Trump advisors convicted of felonies in the months following his election. They've also seen the threat of losing ACA with only promises of "something a whole lot better" that INCLUDES coverage of pre-existing conditions. (They're justifiably nervous because they've seen how Donald's promises work.) They also saw that Trump talked a good game but have seen a post-election economy that has had little to no impact on their paychecks.

If the Democrats are smart enough to elect a candidate that doesn't x-out all of Trump's negatives with those of her or his own, Trump will be a one-term President.

Where's the report? We got a 4 page summary from a guy Frump hired to come in (and shut down the investigation). WHERE IS THE REPORT AND HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT SAYS???????????????. Barr is hired to do just what he did. Then the most evil person in the world (McConnell) comes in and blocks the release of the report. WTF.....

You are going to compare an EO to protect DACA kids from Deportation after trying to work the Senate to pass a moderate Immigration Reform bill to declaring a National Emergency over a 1000+ mile physical Wall over a temper tantrum and after telling everyone on the Campaign trail that Mexico would pay for it?

One is a last ditch effort to protect a vulnerable group of people that have grown up in this country(UCF top 2 in the nation in DACA enrollment) and the other __________

These games have been going on Pre Trump and if anyone does enough research a lot of the issues all point back to Mitch McConnell

Trump has issued all kinds of executive orders. His first year in office he wrote 55 EO's. The most Obama did in a single year was 42. Bush wrote more than Obama as well. I am not sure why people started to pretend like EO's were an Obama thing, considering he is nowhere close to the top of the list with regards to the # of EO's he wrote.

shook as ever. trump doesnt always surround himself with the best people contrary to his claim. those were some bad people that did some bad things. they will serve their time as they should. OMG did i just condemn them but wayne is a red maga hater?!!?!

however, not one of them had anything to do with the original intent of the probe which was russian collusion. i think i saw a poll the other day that people are agreeing with trump that it was a witch hunt. the same goes for the kavanaugh hearings. hint, thats not a good thing for dems heading into 2020.

lol at the claim have not seen post election economy and no impact on their paychecks. damn thats a good one.

Yeah, but unlike Trump and Bush, when Obama wrote an Executive Order, he was subverting "the very Foundation of our Nation!, right guys? :)

You can pull on heartstrings all you want by referencing "DACA kids" but it doesn't change a damn thing. He didn't get what he wanted so he quite literally used an EO to pass laws with authority that don't even remotely fall to the Executive. He knowingly violated the Constitution and the separation of powers, the worse in modern history, and yet you guys flip shit over Trump's EOs which are far less severe in every regard.
