So what happened to those supposed 1,000 Eagles fans that were to show up and had been cleared by the WH?

I actually wish you would post in the political threads. As much as I disagree with many of your views, I think you at least try to be respectful in your discussions (at least I don't recall you calling people morons, stupid, dumb, idiots, etc. in every sentence) and I like to read differing opinions. We all do, otherwise we wouldn't be posting in the cooler.

I'm hopeful that both sides can take this seriously and guys don't go there suggesting he pardon Tamir Rice or Philando Castile. Trump seems to be pardon-happy for some reason, but I don't think that's going to be the answer some of these players will be looking for.
This will go well up until someone asks to pardon a cop killer, Trump denies, and the player runs to the media claiming he’s a racist and that they’re going to kneel all season in protest
Why not philando Castile? From the video of his shooting it looked insane, straight up murder.
And yet a jury found Jeronimo Yanez not guilty after only 27 hours of deliberation.

That's one of the main reasons why many said the Eagles SHOULD have gone to the White House, as Kelly A Conway (HUHE Eagles fan) noted the players could have met privately with Trump prior or just after the WH Ceremony to discuss some issues.
I'm glad Trump has met with Hollywood Elists like Kim K to get things done as nothing gets done by shouting at each other.
And I hope something good happens with Trump's meeting with NK Dictator too.
