Under Biden, we won't get below 5% unemployment. Added regulations, taxes, and increased immigration will lead to stagnation in the job market. Add to that inflation and an increase in minimum wage and we won't get anywhere near full employment.

Under Biden, we won't get below 5% unemployment.
We won't go under 5%?? Christ, do you know where it is NOW under your guy?

Trump's unemployment rate rose to the highest levels our country has seen since the Great Depression -- but let's wring our hands about unemployment under our new President. 🙄

Maybe if the previous administration had done a better job and recovered the economy faster, Biden would have a better chance. Quite sad that Agent Orange didn’t do a better job.

6.9%

Considering we were at records lows before the sniffles and betas wanted to shut everything down, he did amazing. Still the case in sh!tholes california.

China will boom under the studdering baffoon.
Not just China, Iran and it’s linked terrorist groups have been seen cheering the Biden administration.

I will take that bet. We already are at the lowest. First-year i expect 4.5. Also adding Immigration. We are low in farm workers and Construction. Plus if 2.5 trillion road bridge and train package goes through.. Also2 trillion stimulus Expect huge gains. Also charging 2000 per DACA student for Amnesty that will pump economy. Charging 1000 dollars for workers 2 year visa as well. Adding cost to all visa.. New jobs will be created in renewable sector as well.

Interest rates are 0.0% right now. It doesn't matter what Biden or Trump does now.
Absolutely Expect growth in home purchasing if he fixes Immigration. Many want to build homes and cant. I will say about 140,000 new home buyers.

No demand. We already have a glut and the boomers are aging out. Housing is essentially dead for 5 years.
Haha not in my area. We cannot build fast enough. I am in the fastest growing area. Dos Santos never allowed building to stop. just built Friends family a 4200 sq home and his brother a 5600 both on 10 acre.. 1 month both will be done. Nebraska maybe not here. Have pictures from Start to now.

Of course there are areas that housing is still in demand, but the industry as a whole is in a world of hurt in the near future.

No not for At least 4 years. Also, The northern states will be fine. Southern states will expect gains.

I expect it will go under 6% and possibly get to 5% in first year, He will be slow to do much of what he wishes as long as Republicans hold the senate. Doubt it stays under 5% for very long though. More partial shutdowns are coming soon, so Below 6% is far from guarantee.

The standard Republican response to the pandemic that I find perplexing is that you can't separate the economy from the science of the virus. Shutdowns are not meant to be a big FU to the economy, it's a recognition that we've got to get this damn bug under control again before we can do much of anything. The economy is based upon consumer confidence. The way to build consumer confidence is taking steps to bring the skyrocketing numbers down again -- and keep them down -- until a vaccine is ready for distribution.

The notion that you can treat this virus as 'no big deal' and poo-poo mask-wearing and social distancing WHILE getting the economy roaring again is nonsensical. The sooner we can get everybody 'on board' with following the health officials' recommendations, the sooner we're all putting this pandemic in the rear view mirror.

I am not arguing whether more shut downs are good or bad, But they will be devastating to the Economy, just like they were earlier this year. If we have large scale shutdowns The economy comes to a screeching halt again, Millions get laid off again, millions of businesses that barely survived this last time won't survive a 2nd shut down. Shut downs do not get the virus under control, the only thing that will do that is a combo of enough people having and surviving it, along with the Trump vaccines, and better treatments. If most businesses are closed and people in the 10's of millions are unemployed, consumer confidence does not matter.

The vast majority of people are social distancing, and are wearing mask in public, the people at highest risk are usually more careful than those who are at less risk. I trust people to make their own decisions, I don't go to bars, inside restaurants, or anywhere that have large gatherings, That is my decision on how to protect myself, I am against pushing Covid people into nursing homes... and protecting that group, which the wizards of close, did not do. I barring an emergency wouldn't fly, but my son in law who is 40 and healthy does because he must to do his job.
I understand you live in your basement, and don't see much of the real world, but I have not seen a single business that is open that hasn't taken steps to protect their employees and customers.
