Will be interesting with the first year of the 12 game playoffs on how it pans out.

Wish UCF was in the conversation. Maybe next year.

it will be a bunch of SEC (4-6) and B1G (4-5)teams because ESPN and Fox have invested the most in those two leagues.

Look how the AP poll changed this offseason. XII and ACC are fighting for representation 3-4 schools for both conferences. G6 will have a 1-2 schools Boise and maybe Washington state. And you gotta have ND.

vandy beating bama = SEC is good
tech beating iowa state = XII is bad

We need to hope BYU wins out (I doubt it), wins the Big12 and and Iowa St. wins out, for any shot at 2 Big12 CFBP teams. Colorado's pizzaz could launch them if they win out, but not sure about conference tiebreakers.

KST is assuredly finished.

Seems alright to me, besides flipping Alabama and SMU.
I would agree with that. It’s not the final ranking…far from it.

Looking at the 12 teams…I would love for Miami to face BYU. Miami would destroy BYU…they have a squad of old white dudes and that’s it. There’s not one “scary” player in that BYU team.

Despite the continual bias there will always be for the "better" SEC/B10 teams, this is best the committee has done to get the G5 team near the top and rank the "non-blue bloods" undefeated teams like Indiana/BYU.

Every ACC and Big 10 fan is defending Indiana, Miami and even SMU. It's the eye [BS] test, and it's obviously biased! Here's my response to one...

And yet the SoS argument was relevant in all past CFP arguments, including Clemson having no better SoS than UCF in 2017, and Ohio State actually being worse in 2020.

The Big 10 is overrated, and the ACC has a SoS so poor, it's like pre-2023 AAC, which was far better, and with far more Top 10 wins, than the Big East it replaced. The Big XII is the 2nd toughest P4, and it's worst team is higher ranked than the SEC's worst in computer rankings too.

BTW, Indiana's SoS is even worse than Cincinnati's in 2021, although Cincinnati made the CFP, despite being 20 positions worse than Clemson or UCF in 2017, but... that was the Norte Dame bias at work. It's the eye [BS] test, and it's definitely being noticed... again.

If at least 2 Big XII teams don't make it, but 2 ACC teams do, you're never going to hear the end of it. Yorkmark will never stop complaining, especially since BYU's SoS is at the bottom of the conference around 40'ish. Almost everyone else is sub-30, if not sub-20. Miami and SMU are over 50, just like FSU last year.
