It’s weird because in the NFL prior to Kansas City winning a blue state had won 9 straight Super Bowls. But in college the SEC is all red and they almost get a de facto spot in the CFI.

Michigan 1997, Washington 1991. Both were split championships just to throw the blue states a bone. Prior to that, you have to go back to the days when the south was still cool with slavery and voted Democrat.

Mountain and Pacific time zone States are the most scenic in this country , who cares if their college football isn’t good. Would you rather live in Colorado or Alabama? It’s not even close

Colorado is pretty, but cold as hell. There is a reason the MW is lowly populated.

I thought you were talking red states now. Florida was blue in 2012 and FSU won it in 2013. Too lazy to check any others.
 
College football is biased. NFL is a better selector of physicality.
