ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF Women's Softball is set to host UConn in its final American Athletic Conference home series, starting on Friday at 5:30 p.m. The Knights continue their series against the Huskies at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Following the final home game of the season on Sunday at noon, seniors Manami Calixto, Linnea Goodman, Willow Kalinen and Brittany Solis will be recognized for their contributions to the program. A special set of senior trading cards are available to fans, who can also play softball bingo.

After its conference bye weekend, UCF holds 23-20 overall mark and begins its stretch run in The American. The Knights are third in the standings and hold a 7-5 league record with series against UConn and first-place Tulsa remaining before The American Championship in Greenville, N.C.

UConn is 15-26 overall and 1-10 conference record. The Huskies split a two-game set with South Florida and have come up short against Houston, East Carolina and Tulsa.

The Knights hold a 12-1 all-time mark against UConn, including nine-straight victories since joining The American in 2014. UCF has swept two series and took a one-game weather-shortened three-game set in 2016. During that win streak, four contests have been decided by one run.
