Health Care Costs

Let's just do some simple math here:

Most blacks aren't going to vote for him.

Most hispanics aren't going to vote for him.

Most women aren't going to vote for him.

Muslims sure as shit aren't going to vote for him.

Your basic independent voter isn't going to vote for him.

All of this equals a potential ass whipping.

Of the candidates that actually have a shot at being POTUS, many within those voting blocks will be making a decision between the two crappy candidates. Don't underestimate the Trump mania like the establishment GOP did.

I don't--there are enough idiots who have already voted for him in the primaries. However, do you really think a decision (as you cited above) between the lesser of two evils will result in a Trump presidency? In fact, that's probably just what Hillary wants.

I think it very well could for the exact reason you cited. Between the folks that would vote for him as first choice plus those that will support the GOP plus those voting against Crooked Hillary plus those who refuse to vote for Hillary (Bernie voters) plus the fact that Democrats aren't turning out in the usual volume while Trump voters are turning out in record numbers, he will be POTUS.

You just cited a best-case scenario for him. Every single one of those variables would have to be in play for it to work.

Again from my original post, the math works out much more favorably for crooked Hillary than Trump. And at this point, Trump is further behind in the polls than any candidate ever has been going into a nomination. To say he has an uphill battle is putting it mildly.

Trump has turned the polling upside down. He's an aberration. The delta between crooked Hillary and Trump is narrowing every day. Every time the polls come out, the pundits point out that he's hit his ceiling and that he won't garner more than ##% of the vote. They've been wrong the entire way so why should I expect that trend to change?

Trump will win 100% of every white male vote in the country.

Because when push comes to shove, people, like it or not, are going with Hillary. He's pissed too many people off not to.

Look, if Mitt Romney lost an election because of his "47%er" comment, do you really think the media is going to let everyone forget all the dumb shit he's said?

Math. Women and minorities will go with Hillary.

We'll see. Like watching a train wreck, I'm going to be both hating it and interested in seeing which candidate finds the most shit and counter shit - there's a lot of shit to work with on both sides. One thing that Trump has going for him is that the more crap people throw his way the more support he gets - I don't know how he does it.

Mitt was not only an establishment guy but he really didn't connect with the blue collar and working classes and Trump does.

Just quit fighting it and accept it. Trump will be POTUS - support him.

A few points.

First, I still can't figure out how Barack won in 2012. We can talk about some great Democratic ground game or Mitt not connecting with voters, but there was no way he should have lost that election. Barack's circumstances going into that election should have merited an easy win.

Second, I can't put too much into polling when it has meant exactly dick for Trump thus far. He is doing something that shouldn't work, like the Warriors winning as a jump shooting team.

Chuck Todd on Meet the Press had Obama's win pegged pretty easily and early on. His interactive map of the Electoral College was pretty damn accurate. I will be interested to see how he breaks it down this year. It will probably be fairly similar to 2012 with the toss-up states--FL, OH, and PA--dictating the winner yet again.

I think you are wrong on the independent voters and they can sway an election. there is a reason why the polls are so tight in the border states right now and Hillary has yet to be attacked unlike Trump.

They can sway an election, no doubt, but I'd be willing to bet most independents go left rather than right.

Hillary isn't going to be attacked. Please. The media is going to kiss her ass right up to her inauguration next year.

It won't be the media that attacks, we know that is not going to happen, it will be Trump. Trump can soften up, Hillary can't she is just an unlikeable person.

Last week, Trump was polling at 15% for Democrats. If Trump is more Democrat (Lib) than Republican (Conservative) then I would expect that % to only go up. I bet more independents than you think will vote for Trump. Trump will start showing some of his more moderate/lib tendencies (except the wall, stop muslims) including taxing the rich and the independents will show up...not to mention he is viewed as a non-establishment candidate, Hillary not so much. Besides, Bernie is still pulling her so far to the left and for so long, it's going to be hard for her to get back.

Trump's not only an establishment guy but he's a democrat.
All the more reason Democrats will vote for him.

This is no different than ghey marriage. Everyone sez they're for it til they vote then they vote against it. People don't like admitting they love the Donald then they'll vote for him

Let's see if if Coke is still around.

And he is far from the first idiot anti-semite I have met but I will tell you the liberals are far more anti-semitic than most Trump supporters. Funny thing is, Trump's daughters both converted to Judaism. That will piss off coke.
You mean the liberals supporting the candidate who was raised Jewish?

That is easy, because Bernie is a Jew in name only. He does not practice judaism, he does not actively go to Temple and is not very religious. Now I have no problem with this but in the Jewish community Joe Lieberman is viewed Jewish, Bernie is not. This is from the NY Times, I am not sure you would understand it but any Jew would:

When Senator Bernie Sanders thanked supporters for his landslide victory in the New Hampshire Democratic primary, he wistfully reminisced about his upbringing as “the son of a Polish immigrant who came to this country speaking no English and having no money.”

While the crowd cheered, Rabbi Michael Paley of New York was among many Jews watching the speech who were taken aback. He said he was surprised that the Vermont senator had not explicitly described his father as a “Polish Jewish immigrant,” a significant distinction given Poland’s checkered history with its Jewish population.

“Nobody in Poland would have considered Bernie a Pole,” Rabbi Paley said.

When a black person like Hermin Cain or Condoleezza Rice show up republican, the black community labels them an uncle tom because they believe they are a sellout. Listen to XM left channel at 6:00 and you will hear the host trash any black republican no matter their upbringing or situation. Well the Jewish community has a similar stance on Bernie but it is more justified. Lieberman was a democrat that many Jews supported but most Jews see right through Sanders. That is why liberals love Bernie, he will eat his own and they will use him for that.

This is from another NY Newspaper:

The Bernie Sanders campaign is doing really well with hipsters who hate Israel. But there are two groups it just can't seem to crack. Black people and Jews.

The train didn't start going all the way off the rails until the campaign arrived in New York where it was embraced by the Hate Israel crowd and rejected by actual Jewish communities. After Bernie Sanders lied and accused Israel of killing 10,000 "innocent people", even his Jewish supporters headed for the exits.

And then the Bernie Sanders campaign decided to bring on board Simone Zimmerman, a BDS supporter and anti-Israel activist in If Not Now, a J Street front group harassing Jewish charities who help people in Israel, as its Jewish Outreach Director.

Finally I will leave you with this Good Knight Sweetheart:

“The great irony of the story is that Bernie Sanders does not have Jewish grandchildren — but Mr. Trump does. That perhaps explains why Bernie Sanders has not been greeted by the Jewish community quite the same way that, say, Joe Lieberman was when he ran for vice president in 2000,” added Sarna, noting that Sanders’ wife is not Jewish, and their children and grandchildren don’t seem to identify at all with Jewish heritage.

The last 3 polls show it a dead heat. I don't care, I am voting for who ever the libertarian is.

Well you're delusional.

MAC, the Labour party in England is left right? Well the Labour party had to suspend Naz Shah, Ken Livingston, Vicki Kirby, Illyas Aziz, Salim Mulla, Shah Hussain, Aysegul Guzbuz, Khadim Hussain, Miqdad Al-Nuaimi and Terry Kelly all for anti-semitic statements, tweets or posts. Not one person from a conservative party was involved.

Tell me something MAC, have you experienced anti-semitism. Here are some quotes about Bernie Sanders director of Jewish Outreach:

Indeed Sanders is the ultimate Kapo Jew... the Soros type who willingly collaborated with enemies of his own people.
Sanders' appointment of Simone Zimmerman as his Jewish outreach director has nothing to do with "Jewish outreach", but to bolster his credentials among the increasingly loud antisemitic Left.
That's what Obama's anti-Israel presidency has done to the Democratic party... diminish support for Israel. Sanders reckons that he has more votes to gain from the Obama Left, than from Jews. So he doesn't mind shunning and even antagonizing Jews.

@SenSanders unacceptable and offensive to have your new Director for Jewish outreach (Simone Zimmerman) be a supporter of #BDS and #JVP

Sanders Doubles Down on anti-Israelism:, Hires BDS and Jewish Voice for Peace advocate Simone Zimmerman http://www.worldjewishdaily.com/sanders-israel.php#.Vw4iMX9NEMk.twitter …

Kinda digging how Bernie handling perception he's anti-Israel. Hired a Jewish outreach director who's a professional anti-Israel activist
6:10 PM - 12 Apr 2016

Sanders' Jewish 'outreach' is more of a warning what will happen to the Jews if he's elected. At least he's got someone being honest about that. We should send the Sanders campaign copies of Mein Kampf

Why are people surprised by this? The left is very anti-semitic.

MAC, I could go on and on but this is 20 minutes of internet time. I am Jewish, I've had swastikas painted on my garage door, I have had parents not allow me to date their daughter because I was Jewish, I've seen my son first hand be called Jewboy by his football coach. I know anti-semitism, I 've lived it and I recognize who it is coming from. My father-in-law is about as big of a redneck as they come, born in the panhandle of Florida in the 30's. He has never said or done anything negative to me since I met the man. I can't say that for many liberals I've come across.

You didn't address my point, which was to conflict with your comment of "the liberals are far more anti-semitic than most Trump supporters."
You didn't prove me wrong, all you did was say Bernie isn't very Jewish now. Great.

.

As I have said, the most hateful group I have ever encountered is the left, thank you for proving that.
How did I prove that? My laughing at you, of all people, saying "its called having an open mind you should try it, it might make you a better person." ? How is that proving the left is a hateful group? You are one of the least open minded people on this board. Once again, Sir G, you are not addressing my point.

And I'm not part of your "left".
