Because they are not hunting for a conference title or a championship. Because pro prospects are thinking about the draft and don't want to risk getting hurt when their resume has basically already been written. It's an exhibition game designed to make money for sponsors and schools.
It is valuable to the G5 because it is their chance to show they belong in the P5 and for its pro prospects to increase their stock doing well v top talent. You all know it's true. You just don't like the messenger and the fact it diminishes the G5 and UCFs bowl wins.
Again.., a very weak argument since UCF has put a lot of players in the pros and never saw anyone not try in a bowl game. Why would UF players not try? Are you saying they are losers and quitters?
Resume already written? Do you not think that pro scouts look at these games?? Like no player ever improved their stock or hurt it in a bowl game.
Wrong again.
G5 payers who are seniors care about how they do to show their team belongs in the P5? Did you really think Storm Johnson was thinking that when we beat Baylor. Like he gave 2 shits about UCF after he left and whether they went
to P5??? Wrong again
You are really reaching here.
