For all of the talk, debate, and fighting about how Russia tried to affect our election and consequently national security, missing from the discussion is a guy named Imran Awan.

This guy was hired by Debbie Wasserman Schultz to run IT for congressional democrats. He had no experience in IT prior to be hired, yet he was given a salary over 3 times the amount that house IT personnel make. He then went on to hire his family to assist him, all at comparable salaries and none of them had IT experience either- one had been employed at Mcdonalds as a cashier prior to this job. Awan himself was heavily leveraged in debt which should have precluded him from employment but it was somehow overlooked and he and his brother both manipulated the federal employee credit union to pad their bank accounts by selling houses back and forth between one another. As bad as that is, in and of itself, it gets worse.

An inspector general noticed that emails were being transferred to Pakistan from this server. When they went to sieze the server, it had disappeared and Awan attempted to flee the country to go back to Pakistan. Hundreds of emails that contained secret information was funneled to a 3rd party in Pakistan and then lord knows where.

Why is this not being discussed? Also missing is the fact that an inspector general found an anomaly in Hillary Clintons server, where 30,000 emails were siphoned to an unknown foreign party.

For all of the hulabaloo about a peepee tape, nobody is concerned about serious national security breaches.

Meh. HRC deleted 33,000 emails that were under subpoena while her husband was having secret meetings with the AG.

Some Democrats tweeted that indicting the Russians cleared Imran Awan and implied that anybody who said otherwise is a conspiracy theorist whack job. I think his investigation for espionage/cyber crimes died on the vine because it implicated too many top people at the DNC.

The worst thing about the Awan brothers scandal is that it's a long, involved mess. The average American doesn't have the attention span to follow all this.

At worst, the Paki government has blackmail info on various high-level Democrats thanks to the stealing of their e-mails, and one or more Awan brothers may have been involved in the murder of Seth Rich.

The Deep State wants this scandal to go away, especially if pedophile-related Congressional e-mails were stolen --which may explain why the DOJ was so ridiculously lenient on Imran Awan.

No, not really. One is the Washington post and one is the daily caller.

Your link is to a guest column written by a recently retired hyper partisan Democratic congressman.

LOL at your pathetically trying to pass this as a research story when it’s notbing more than the words of a Democratic operative

What wasn't factual?

This doesnt pass the sniff test. How can there possibly be that many questionable aspects of the story and the investigation basically shows nothing happened?

the dude is being protected with every last bit of political power the clintons have left. its possible that there are other high level democrats that could be brought down with this guy so nothing will happen. wouldnt be surprised if hes killed off in a few years.
