In 2020, vote for the person who pays their taxes.

I'm sure with Real Estate because you get the depreciation. I did the same thing and you have to depreciate with tax laws. Makes Real Estate lucrative. If you never sell you don't have to pay back the depreciation either.
Its a flaw in the system that needs to be corrected. Trump took advantage of it like millions of other people do, including myself and most of the people on this board.

If only someone in a position of power to rewrite tax laws, who actually did rewrite tax laws a couple years ago, could have done something.

Oh well can't blame Trump for that right?

The other thing about this, is that it doesnt even appear he was a millionaire, much less a billionaire. Why are these banks willing to loan him so much money? He has a $400 million loan due in 2022. For a guy who has ran business after business into the ground banks sure were willing to give him shit loads of money.

You talk about the banks loaning him money, but we've got 43% of the country gleefully giving him their vote after he's run our country into the ground for crying out loud!!!

You have to give Trump props for that, he's got to be The Bullshit Artist of All Times.

He is a genius at convincing people he is something he quite clearly is not. If nothing else, his supporters have to see all this and realize he is a terrible businessman. If they dont, it is because they dont want to admit it to themselves that they got duped, or honestly, they just arent even remotely intelligent people.

This could be completely unrelated, and I am not posting this to make light of it, but his former campaign manager and current campaign adviser Brad Parscale was placed under the Baker Act today for threatening to kill himself. And apparently there is $170 million missing from Trump's campaign, and there are allegations it was diverted through firms headed by Parscale. A lot going on in Trump land today.

We don't know what banks they are. Might be Moscow Savings and Loan.

If every man woman child baby and geriatric in America paid Donald Trump's $750 tax bill we would only have enough to cover 30% of our military budget and not a penny for anything else. America doesn't run on cheaters. Someone has to be paying their fair share and the president is a low integrity individual.

At this point, you’d have to be a deaf and blind to not know that Trump doesn‘t give a shit about this country.

This running for the President business was all about feeding his narcissism.

No, these people aren't physically handicapped, don't give them that benefit. They are purely mentally handicapped. Just plain idiots.

Where can I find betting odds on Trump Campaign officials going to prison for laundering and tax fraud? We already know Trump is being investigated. Looks like Parscale is going down as Trump's 2nd Campaign Manager to go to prison. I'd say a fair over/under is 2.5.

I'm going with over.

An even bigger worry is the $300 mil in debt that trump owes someone. You can't get a basic security clearance with 1/1000th of that kind of debt, because you could be in someone's pocket. Yet the most powerful man in the world clearly owes someone (or some country) a shit ton of money.

This should scare the shit out of anyone with a pulse and two neurons to rub together.

The man is the very embodiment of the word "hypocrite"

When Webster comes out with their 2020 dictionary, the only entry they need for that word is a picture of Trump.

You know what it's called when you downplay your income on tax forms and play it up on loan applications? Fraud. Bank fraud or tax fraud pick your poison.

No bank would lend money to a company that always show losses.

Trump got a 73 millon dollar tax refund. Paid no taxes in almost every year of the 21st century.

Somehow still gets loans for 300 million dollars. I want to see what income he claimed on the loan application.

Like anyone uses a dictionary anymore you shook little snowflake. This doesn't affect me in the slightest. Rich people get to play by a separate set of rules unlike all you loser pedo lowlifes. How is this anything different from what Hillary did? Obama does the same thing!!!!!!! WAKE UP!!!!!!

First paragraph, yes. 2nd paragraph, no. Banks loan to businesses that are asset heavy and have cash flow problems all the time. As long as his loan applications that go to federally insured institutions are consistent with his depreciation schedule and are fair market value, its not a crime.

Do you think they will be fair market value? Lol.

Hard to say. At any given point in time, value can be vastly different. If i owned a hotel last year, my asset and liability statement would be a heck of a lot different than it does today. Disclosures are for a specific date. Thats why banks have loan analysts to make projections.

Need a couple more spelling and grammar mistakes to really nail one of these backwoods MAGAts, but in general good enough, 9/10.

Vote for the person who is smarter than you dumb minimum wage peons. Don’t blame him for playing by the rules. Even if you don’t like the rules and they don’t benefit you. Rules are rules. Maybe pull yourselves up by the bootstraps and one day you can pay someone handsomely to get you out of paying taxes. And then pay someone else to fight the IRS audit for 10 years. You too can be an American success story.

Just make sure you start off with a "small loan" of about $70 million (1980's dollars mind you) that you never have to pay back. That's the key part here.

Ah, the old team mentality. My team is better than yours and all that jazz. Newsflash both teams suck and you aren’t really a part of either. I look at it more like an employer employee relationship. I can acknowledge employee ****ups even if the pool of applicants was also shitty.

The sports team analogy really fits--especially with Trump. When you have absolutely no defense for all the crap you seeing going on, it's the "Oh well, he's still MY guy on MY team come hell or high water!" routine.

But, news flash: this ISN'T sports. This is real-life with real-life consequences. It's past time to wake up and smell the roses -- or in this case, smell the stench.

You two are behind the times. 2016 Trump voters treated politics like a team sport, and it was disgusting.

2020 Trump supporters are a goddamn cult.

Trump has refused to disclose his tax documents, but The New York Times reported on Sunday that that financial documents seen by the newspaper show he is personally responsible for repaying the loans.

In an interview with NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell, Pelosi, a Democrat, expressed concern about the impact that might have had on policy and on relations with nations like Russia.

“This president appears to have over $400 million in debt. To whom? Different countries? What is the leverage they have? So for me, this is a national security question,” Pelosi said.

Ah the ole “I’m a perfectly moderate centrist with no biases despite my constant whining about one side and only that one side”.

How many more years til y’all decide the parties actually switched? Is there a timeline for y’all realizing you’ve been on the wrong side of history or do you just play it by ear?
