So Biden said that Obama was questioning why he was ever briefed on this anonymous gossip which caused this entire faux rage with liberals. Good for Obama for questioning it but he was part of the problem with politicizing the intelligence community.

It's not a new report either. The author tried to get multiple media outlets to publish it back in October and only Mother Jones ran a story on it (Link). It wasn't until McCain provided the report to the FBI and asked them to investigate the claims that it grew legs. The chief intelligence officers briefed Obama and Trump on it which gave it a vague stamp of legitimacy. Then Buzzfeed ran with it and craziness ensued.
