I wouldn't mind adding NIU and S. Miss. But hell no to La Tech. And WKU is too new in FBS to add + it's in Kentucky.

NIU would be a solid for the conference. GA southern possibly? But I wonder if Boise and SD State wish they never backed out.

NIU will only be invited if Cinci stays. La Tech and Southern Miss to make strengthen the southern hold of the conference.

USM brings some history, but 0 market. same for La tech. Rather stay at 10, continue with 8 conf games and keep a champ game. NO reason to add unless BYU is part of that add.

both have half the athletic budget of UCF and no market. Really slim picks if we lose 2 members.

If the Big 12 can hold a conference title game with less than 12 teams, then there should be no reason for us to add teams in response - at least until our TV deal expires. Per team amount increases slightly towards 2 million if we drop to 10. If the Big 12 goes ahead and adds UConn and Cinci as WVU travel partners, then basketball is going to take a major hit.
