Having most of my peers outside of the US, and most in the EU, too many think we are 'uncivilized' that we don't have laws against denying the Holocaust or the Nazi party.
As I always tell them, "Why do you guys need a law? The second Americans need a law to stop ourselves, that's when our experiment has truly failed."
Indeed, Germany basically had to outlaw Nazi membership and even legislate anti-Nazi heros in 1955. It wasn't until then that the Germans finally made lasting peace with the French within 2 more years.
