Jeff Sessions Lied Under Oath - Had Contact w/ Russian Ambassador

This Evan Mcmullin?

McMullin says he graduated from BYU in 2001 but joined the CIA in 1999?
Then while serving overseas as a clandestine CIA operative, he got an MBA from the Wharton School?

Finally, he doesn’t speak Arabic. If he did anything in the Middle East, he was a desk jockey, not an operative.
His own Linkedin bio says he MANAGED operations.

McMullim’s Linkedin bio says he graduated from BYU in 2001.

But he said he did missionary work in Brazil after 2001; Mormon males spend two years as missionaries.

The Wikipedia page says he did his missionary work after graduating from BYU in 2001. That would mean he wouldn’t be available to join the CIA until 2003, not 1999 or 2001.

The Linkedin page says he spent the year 1997 on a commercial fishing vessel.

And even though he worked in Jordan and was then a “CIA operative” in the Middle East, he doesn’t speak Arabic.

Yup, there is a good source.

No idea what source you pulled that from, but it's not even right, and yet again it's another strawman. Attack the messenger, but ignore the message, right?

But, since you brought it up, it's wrong. His wiki page says he did his missionary work prior to going to BYU, and got his MBA in 2011 after he left the CIA. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evan_McMullin#Early_life_and_education

And shame on your source for actually citing wiki as a credible source.

It's official. Sessions will recuse himself from any investigation into the possibility that Russia interfered with the election.

But there isn't one at the moment, apparently.

but would he have opened himself up to recuse if the media didn't release this? Would Flynn have been dismissed if the journalist didn't uncover his lies? What about Manafort? We rely on journalist and investigative reporting to be our watchdog for stuff like this. Blanketing all media as "fake news" is a very slippery slope for us as a democracy.

You've nested a slippery slope inside your slippery slope

Fake news is fake news. This thread is fake news. It has the same salacious headline that most of the MSLM are running with. The simple fact people think that Trump has been plagued with scandal after scandal just proves the MSLM is all about fake news. They've completely thrown journalism out the window since Hillary lost and have gone full bore to destroy Trump. Just listen to the pressers every day. The media is fighting with and yelling at Spicer. For the last eight years they were all sitting back and asking about TMZ bullshit with Earnest while conservative news outlets were branded has nutjobs and conspiracy theorists for actually asking real questions. What scandals has Trump had besides Flynn, which was swiftly and correctly dealt with?

So you're just gonna stick with the name calling and not offer a substantive argument? That's what Rolly Polly does. The higher education, better than everyone else snobbery is starting to rub off on you. You need to go spend a couple days with blue collar manual laborers and get a reality check.

Because you have your fingers in your ears. I'm better off my way than dealing with someone who is just going to bait, troll, and utter lap dog nonsense as you do. Truthfully, idgaf. It's pretty amusing to me.

The White House is playing way too much defense and not enough offense. Jeff Sessions is under attack by the congress. Okay, what they need to do is slap the Democrats good and hard. Have federal marshals handcuff Hillary and haul her in. Begin the process of prosecuting that old bat for every possible crime she has committed. It would be amazing how fast the Democrats would lose interest in all this Russia nonsense. They know that Hillary will do absolutely anything to avoid prison. Let her get in a court room and she will sing like a canary. That crooked old loon would give up everyone she ever knew. Trump needs to take the offensive on all this. Stop letting the liberals control the narrative.

Do you really think current dems sitting in Congress give a shit about Killary? Seriously? I'd be willing to bet there are some who'd love to see her take some heat.

You sure you really want to be bringing this up now? It looks like Mike Pence is about to have some similar problems.

An old AOL private email server in which national security info was discussed lol. That ended up getting hacked. Sounds familiar...

Mike Pence wasn't dealing in government secrets either. So good luck comparing the two. I bet the Russians didn't hack into Indiana government secrets.

Ironic thing about the Russian situation .... The Russians OWNED Obama for 8 years. Did what they want whenever they wanted. Yet, somehow, Trump is the one with the Russia problem? Maybe Obama should have spent some of his 8 years on foreign policy and this wouldn't be such a huge issue in the first place.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...skill-accused-lying-attack-sessions/98630572/

And ... here goes the circus ....

"Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., who fired off one of the harshest criticisms of Attorney General Jeff Sessions over his meetings with a Russian ambassador, faced blowback herself Thursday when the senator's own tweets contradicted her claim that she never had met the ambassador."

Now, of course, she had 2 meetings with the guy, but never one-on-one, and of course her meetings were very explainable.

You clearly didn't read the article. The AOL email address contained emails with information so sensitive they could not be turned over with an information request. That means security and intelligence related information marked with the word "secret."

Hacked by leveraging his contacts and sending out an email Phishing scam to them.

You Trumpers are insane. Hillary was an idiot for doing it. And so is Pence, so yes comparisons can be made. But keep on living in fantasy land and keep on spinning.

It's worth looking into, but was Pence really discussing National Security as the governor of Indiana. I wouldn't expect that to be in the job description of a governor except to support the Feds in their work. A support role probably isn't likely to be privy to the classified intel.

Not necessarily. The TPP is classified but is not security or intelligence related. The government has been classifying more things that are not national security related to keep it out of the public domain.

I would think he would absolutely be privy to classified Intel as it related to security threats in the state of Indiana. Maybe even some nationwide terror threats. Definitely not stuff for public consumption.

Sure. I'm sure there were other things in there other than security related info. But the Governor would absolutely be privy to Intel as it related to threats against Indiana. Now if any of this info made its way into any of the emails, I guess we'll never know. Like you said worth looking into, but I doubt that it is.

Look ... at the end of the day this has been a learning experience for ALL government workers who were trying to keep their emails out of the public domain by using private addresses. It was wrong for anybody that did it. And the reasons Hillary, Pence, and others were doing it was all the wrong reasons. So we can all agree on that.

With that said, if you think that there is no difference between Indiana state politics and the SECRETARY OF STATE, then you cannot be helped. The information that the Secretary of State is privy to far exceeds anything Pence was discussing and its not even close.

Statement this week from Democrat Senator Claire McCaskill .... "been on the Armed Services Com for 10 years. No call or meeting w/Russian ambassador. Ever. Ambassadors call members of Foreign Rel Com.”

Tweet from Democrat Senator Claire McCaskill on August 6, 2015 .... "Today calls with British, Russian, and German ambassadors re: Iran deal. #doingmyhomework.”

You knuckleheads trying to make something out of nothing need to go away and start making better choices in your life! This is a non issue.

It is up to 7 people now. 7 people in the Trump administration had contacts with a hostile government that may have influenced our election prior to the Trump becoming President. 7.
Nothing to see here....Move along!

Time for an investigation .... Senator Schumer met with PUTIN ... the leader of all Russians who presumably effect our elections!!!!! Claire McCaskill says there is NO REASON to talk to Russians ... EVER ...

"In 2003, Schumer welcomed Putin to New York City as Russian oil company Lukoil opened a gas station in Manhattan.

The AP photo shows Putin and Schumer smiling, with coffee and Krispy Kreme doughnuts. The caption reads:

Russian President Vladimir Putin, right, enjoys a Krispy Kreme doughnut and coffee with Senator Charles Schumer from New York as Putin visits the first New York gas station of the Russian company Lukoil, Friday."

the worst part about this Russia thing being in the news every week is that I hate how this is elevating them, 95% of that country is a complete dump
