Kamala Harris got ahead the old fashioned way

Dems don't want a centrist. I would vote for a sack of potatoes over Trump but you're not going to get the youth out to vote for Grandpa Joe. Since youths are the dems strongest base getting them motivated will be the most important step.

You want to motivate youth? Look at what they care about. Income inequality, student debt, healthcare.

That means:
Tax wealth at 2%, tax income over 10M at 70% and raise wages.
Plans to forgive student debt
Medicare for all

If a candidate isn't willing to go there then they won't have a chance.
Funny because one of the biggest reasons Obamacare died is because the youth didn’t want the insurance, the mandate or the need.

Watch the first 1:30.

Do you want me to explain it?

Because generally speaking a higher percentage are poor and they don't have the tools financially or the support emotionally that I had. They haven't seen their parents find success and their parents never saw their own parents find success so many don't know what it looks like.

So it should surprise you that I agree with faux intellectual Ben Shapiro that it is the culture that is causing the issue. Where you stop one space too short is defining what causes that culture.

The lack of social mobility where for generations and generations racism existed and was never countered. You can't just put an entire race in a shitty spot and then scratch your head when they can't find a way to get rich. Defining black culture as violence and crime is offensive and ridiculous. Black culture was created by racism and a racist system and it takes creating real and meaningful paths to opportunity to make the change that is needed.

You make a good argument, but there's 1 critical flaw to it: black men arent the only group that is underrepresented in the board room. So are Irish, Chinese, Mexican, Slovakian, and German men. Do all of those groups suffer the same plight as black men?
They were all heavily discriminated against for generations in American history? You obviously recognize that.

Lol. That would explain why our judicial nomenclature is all derived from German. That group who was so discriminated against won half of the battle on which language the government would use.

But out of curiosity, since I listed 3 European nations who are clearly white but you claim are oppressed like blacks are: which white people are the actual problem? Must be either the French or the English.

You're trying to change the issue into something easier to argue. I understand why you'd want to do that when confronted with difficult facts but I'm not talking about what white people have it easiest am I? All of our white histories were easier than the literally human slaves we kept so case closed.

And there it is, folks. You could have saved us the time and just put that down to start with.

"Defining black culture as violence and crime is offensive and ridiculous. Black culture was created by racism and a racist system"

Explain Nigeria. Or Sudan. Those countries are free of white racism and yet they are wrought with violence and crime. And what exactly is "black culture"?

Oh Jesus Christ. You're on a roll today.

American black culture =/= motherfuking Nigerian culture you absolute mound of dirt.

A lot of people had to overcome a lot more than I had to. I am fortunate to have the opportunities that I have had. You think you would be the same man you are today if you were born to a single parent drug addict and lived in a neighborhood where crime was normalized?
Do you actually think a lily-white chickenshit like 85 has any idea about privilege? The most he had to overcome during his upbringing was a belt whooping from pops every time he disappointed him.

I would hope people are self aware enough that they don't take credit for 100% of their success without realizing that other people never have the opportunity.

Not 85 though he scraped and clawed to get where he's at. Never borrowed money from a family member. Never had anything handed to him. He's a real boot strap kind of guy. He's earned everything he's got all by himself.

Just like Trump. No wonder they are best friends. I mean all Trump got was a "small loan" from his dad. Total self made guy. Two peas in a pod.

How does this shit need to be spoon fed to you people? Are you actually this stupid? or just pretending to be?
Just more proof that you have no idea what black culture is, but you're certain its hard and need to blame someone. Deflect, villianize, rinse, repeat.

Oh. So its American black culture. Define that please.
Watch the Ben Shapiro clip of you want the MAGA version.

If you want my version I'm not going to retype it all.
TLDR is. Slavery happened, Jim Crow happened, racism happened, white flight happened and then y'all dumb hick MFs said ok racism is over. Why aren't you guys successful yet, it's been 2 generations it must be your culture that is messed up.

Also, lol at the idea of you being mad that your point has to be spoonfed. The closest you've ever come to spoonfeeding someone is calling them a worthless piece of shit. Can you actually spoonfeed me your point? Or are you just pissed off at the fact that you never make a cogent argument

What part of that is black culture? The slavery part or the white flight part? Just seems weird that you defend black culture but the only reference points involve white people.

Please, for the love of god, spoon feed me.

Do you honestly believe that the
disarray seen on average in the black community in America is due to the racial makeup? That the disproportionate arrests are some how due to their genetics? because you are awfully close to insinuating that and it is truly a disgusting viewpoint

Lol, nope. Just curious about what black culture is since you apparently can spoon feed it to me.

Lol, this is pretty much where the thread dies because someone was actually called on to the mat. Goodnight folks, the 13 year old who challenged Mike Tyson didn't realize this was real.

You have a hard time understanding why white people have a significant impact on black culture in America?

Nope. Just really curious about what black culture is in your opinion, and how taking white people out of the equation would change it.

Who said anything about taking white people out of the equation?

If you want to know what black culture is, Google it. You're not getting me to make generalizations on a race of people. The point is that no paths to successful and meaning careers were made available to the black community for hundreds of years due historically to the progression of salvery, inequality, and racism. This has largely ended recently but the impact is still there.

Now if people suggest investing in black communities to try to correct what is wrong you get called a socialist.

It can be solved through education and job opportunities and community investment. I want everyone to have what I was fortunate to have and that's opportunity to be successful even when you factor in all the times I've messed up and been given second chances.

Says the guy who hurled racial slurs at someone you thought was a Hispanic.

How does socialism assure investing in “black communities”? Whatever those may be. And how does that guarantee any different outcome?

France is arguably the most socialist country in Europe and yet there are tons and tons of poor slums and ghettos, all of which are mainly populated by black immigrants and Muslims. Their socialist welfare state did virtually nothing to make things even for people living there. Not at all.

And in the process, their policies made France less competitive worldwide, less influential, and ultimately less wealthy.

So you admit the problems plaguing the black community aren't from an internal source (genetics), so therefore (stay with me here, this is the spoon feeding part) it must be from an external source. Such as:

-Centuries of slavery
-Codified laws designed specifically to disenfranchise them
-An entire region of the country with deeply held disgusting views that are still to this day occurring

Spoon fed enough?

I have to wonder if the conditions for black people is better in subsaharan african countries, socialist France, or capitalist America. Or maybe a better question should be: where do black people do the best? Actually the same question could be asked of any race.

Not really. Black people have endured centuries of slavery in many countries, not just this one. They have codified laws that benefit them in Nigeria but the situation for the populae is actually worse. Regarding the region of the country part, i guess you'll have to spoonfeed me a little more. Are blacks in Chicago doing better than blacks in Mississippi? One area is much more liberal than the other, but it seems that both have the same struggles. Educate me on why that is?

Maybe because it takes more than 20 years of policy to affect change that spans generations? Jesus fuking christ please tell me you are just pretending to be this stupid.

No, I'm just curious to find out if you are. 20 years of policy change isn't quite adding up right now. Last time i checked the biggest policy change i can think of was about 50 years ago.

Ok you are right. It obviously isn't the systemic environment that is literally designed to disenfranchise them. Please stop beating around the bush and just tell us what you think it is. You've all but said it, we might as well add you to the list of disgusting open racists like sir galahad and rediceknight.

If we’re being real, it would take more than 20 years of any policy changes to get a lot of our black communities back onto equal footing. Not all but many.

That said I don’t think any federal changes would translate the same to various communities. Change has to be local. Very local

Thats the issue. You think that because i dont unequivocally blame white people for the problems that black people face im a racist. There is a level of self accountability that should be factored in here. Yes white people haven't been great. Also, yes black people havent done a great job of taking advantage of the opportunities in front of them. Why is that provocative?

Because it still putting the blame on the victim.
