I know ideally you want a QB in every class but in my mind I think with the late addition of Davin Wydner it makes a QB in 2023 not as much an urgent need. We will have 2 freshmen QB’s in the 4 deep come the summer. Like you said, 2024 we have to hit on a top guy.
I guess a lot of us think the rise of the portal makes it a necessity to bring in a new QB every year, either from the portal or HS recruit because of how quickly guys leave.
I’d still like to bring in 1 scholarship QB every year. Ideally we won’t be going after former QBs turned WR because our starter left and the other options don’t have strong arms. With TC I think we are in good shape after next year but you never know about injuries or wanting to play closer to home.
Which is kind of ironic because having more QBs means transfers are even more likely - transfers were always possible, but the timing is what’s changed the most with the rule change, I think
