There's two G5 schools nearby that have their own on campus stadiums but duh u has to drive over an hour away.

Very interesting convo here between Andy Staples and Bozo's hero Pete Nakos. The naming rights receive all the publicity, but the real elephant in the room is private equity.

A lot of people wringing their hands about a potential B12 Private Equity deal. But, no one knows the details, so no one is in a position to say if it is actually a good idea or not.

If Yormark can negotiate a deal that has the potential to benefit BOTH the PE investors and the B12, it could be good.

If the PE investors want too much, I hope we are smart enough to say no.

Here's hoping everyone knows what the hell to do with the extra $$ because you've got a mountain of ridicule to overcome to be even considered as semi-equal to the other 2 conferences. Let's just look at those that get a boatload of money. Vanderbilt. Nebraska. How many actually matter? We're willing to sell out the goodwill of the name, and sorry stupid article, the Big XII has far, far, far, far, far more prestige than the AAC part 2, and that's not even the silly name of some stupid company. We have a target on our backs, why make us pansies and willing to accept all the ridicule? You don't even want to fight? Welcome to the Big East. Welcome to AAC 2. How can we be this stupid to repeat history?

  • Would university presidents submit to the inevitable management changes and aggressive revenue chasing that would follow such a move?
Hey we wouldn't have to have mediocre coaches anymore. It wouldn't be allowed.

We're not considered equal to the SEC and B10 now, so what's the harm in doing something creative?

You're getting hysterically worried about nothing.

If it works the other conferences will copy it. If not, you end it once the contract ends. 4-10 years I’m assuming.
