So the Feds raided this guys office- for this? 3 years and a plea deal to trumped up, nonsense charges that he agreed to just to take the 3 years? With the bulk of the charges being focused on tax evasion?

And it means what? Election finance laws are generally civil cases penalized by fines. You never responded to my post a month or so ago when I asked about the Obama campaign committed 1,300 separate violations in 2008. They were fined and you knew nothing of it.

1. Trump's a co-conspirator as accused by Cohen. Pardoning a co-conspirator would be a political disaster.
2. Once you've been pardoned you can no longer plead the 5th so Cohen would be required to share everything he knows or face contempt
3. It would be the literal end of the Trump presidency.

If a president pardons someone once, I dont think he'll hesitate to do it again for the same person if they refused to take the stand and held for contempt. It's good to be the king..

Putting aside the ridiculousness and unhinged ranting of this post, you are literally championing a dictatorship at the hands of Trump. Cohen pleaded guilty to 8 counts including most dealing with bank fraud and tax evasion.
I pay my taxes. If I don’t, I go to prison. Cohen committed crimes. Sorry if some of those also implicate Trump with wrong doing. Be happy, Trump likely won’t be impeached or anything. But if he pardons these scumbags, he’s doing it to protect himself and is doing it for nothing more than to circumvent the laws for his personal benefit. No one in America should have this power. Personally, IMO pardoning people is bullshit even when Obama did it. Chelsea Manning should still be sitting in a prison cell.
