Mikey takes not one single snap the whole season and comes in and throws 71% on Cincinnati!!

When Mikey is on the field, the ball moves!!! With JRP, it's clunky.

I love JRP, kid loves UCF, gives his heart on every play, and is one hell of an athlete.

But like I have said since the summer, Mikey Keene is the guy!

But today I think they want to preserve his redshirt. Toward the end of the season let's get him some opportunities.

I've been wanting to see the passing game Mikey ran all season but with JRP and it isn't there. The quick passing game is what our offense was built on in recent history. Mikey has made it a tough decision for Gus but I admit now that our offense clicks better with Mikey. I was wrong and we'll see how Gus is going to handle next game at QB position. JRP might be unable to play due to concussion protocol next game which will give Gus another week to make a decision.

He was hitting the short passing game . Hit a few 2nd/3rd and longs….I have been a hater but he was clutch . With the athletes we bring in just hitting the short pass opens everything up for YAC

Alot of us were waiting to see if Keene had made any improvement.....well he was throwing a live ball today, much improved over the floaters we saw last year. Is he a better fit than Plumlee in the offense? The answer is still no. Is he a better passer than Plumlee? Yes.

With all do respect I disagree. The last time Mikey took an in game snap was like 10-11 months ago and comes in and throws for 71% against the best team in the AAC is stellar

Right. Though I think Bowser is the best we have in terms of short yardage and inside the 5 yard line situations. Harvey is far and away the best back in terms of hitting the right hole/vision

Fantastic? He played great, but fantastic, really? Disingenuous? No I’m keeping it real. JRP or TC is still the fit. We wore them down all game with the rushing game.

All the hatred from some of you that was put on this kid as a FRESHMAN was absurd. Like he had no chance of progressing from a true freshman even with all that experience and game time.

Today, the receivers even looked more confident and probably ran even better routes. You can easily see Keene's ability to go through his progressions and make the right throw.

JRP needs to sit out next week and if Mikey continues his excellent play, then he's QB1 and there should not be any controversy. And a couple of questions must be answered...does Mikey want to play out the season and lose his redshirt and does Mikey want to stay at UCF? Both will need to be answered soon.

Just waiting for JRP to win a game against a good team, hasn't happened yet. Mikey pulled out a game vs an overrated #20, yet they were rated 20. I'd go with Mikey till he proves inadequate. I've seen much more out of him this year. Just have to end with, name the game any UCF QB has won against a stupid important Fl opponent, or a ranked team that is currently on the roster........ Mikey. Like it or not.
