Man, this dude is so nasty and plays so aggressive it looks like a penalty every tackle of his. He and Cam Goode in the middle with the same violent mentality is a scary thought.
Wearing the number 1 is probably an indication of his attitude. He wants to be the best, number 1, on the field.
I really want more German OL, just so we can call our OL, The Berlin Wall.
Penn state has a DT from Germany that hit the portal. He has not seen any playtime yet, so more of an unknown.
maybe Swoboda will help him pan out, he can see how it's done at that height.
I can't wait to see the depth chart once it's released this year. This is getting difficult to keep track of all the moving pieces. If I recall correctly it's not released until the fall camp.
Big area of need. I believe 3 TEs transferred out this past year. Boerboom, Browder, and Forrest.

Doesn't weigh much he must be more of a receiver than anything. That should fit Gus' offense.
He is actually 245-250lbs, those are very old numbers.
That picture alone is 5 years old and 216 weight is likely from sophomore/junior year of HS

I think we underestimate what Tim Harris Jr. brings to the table as far as recruiting these Miami area kids.

Would be huge for sure. Didn’t know Gus utilized TEs much though, maybe b/c we didn’t have any who could catch? Holler came on and has done decent though…
This play looks very familiar, looking forward to seeing this in a UCF uniform and running into our student section!!
I saw this also. As far as I’m concerned the more people covering/talking about UCF the merrier. Brandon Helwig is fantastic at his job but there is definitely room for more than just one or two guys.
One thing I noticed during this whole transfer portal thing is that the “more well known” schools have dozens of people covering them.
Just google Kobe Hudson’s name and you will see what I’m talking about.

Yeah Miami has a bunch. Even the free ones are real good. People in Dungeon upset because people are getting info before them for free. Charging for free info is like newspapers. We know the direction they are going.
That’s why I left years ago. A lot of White Knights coming to everyone’s defense in there. It’s toxic.
An episode of Our Time featured Alec Holler and Gus mentioned how he was kinda shocked to learn this kid was a walk-on. Gus recognized his potential and surprised him with a full scholarship.
Holler is one of the feel-good stories that makes college football great. He had a very solid season and has been a pleasant surprise for most of us.
