Weren't you guys crying about free speech recently? I forget the outrage cycles. I think that was before the election was rigged freak out.
I dont want this to be silenced. I think it's better to have this stuff out in the open so we know exactly who people really are.
They've been promoting antiracism and gender theory for awhile now. They even ran a 7-minute video titled "Learn the meaning of environmental racism" at some point and they are filtering themes into their shows. It's pure indoctrination of young children who do not need to be dealing with these themes.

We need to go back to the good, ol' "NON-indoctrination" days of Columbus 'discovering' America, our country's Founding Fathers being Gods, and the Civil War being all about 'States rights.'
We certainly don't need none of this crap about WW II Chinese-American internment camps, a massacre in Tulsa 100 years ago, the Civil Rights Act, legalizing gay marriage, or the transgendered community coming out of the closet.

You must not realize how far the trans community is pushing things. It's beyond the point of saying that gender is a social construct or that it is fluid, they are trying to redefine words like sex, biology, homosexuality, and heterosexuality.
This is what countless years of believing white-washed history gets you. An entire generation of adults who don't care about the truth, and their brainwashed children following in their footsteps trying to do the same with their grandchildren. The cycles of ignorance and racism continues...

A drag queen is dress-up. I've seen people like The Rock and Tony Curtis do it. A trans person is an identity.
It's the same thing. Pretending to be the gender or sex that is the opposite of your genetic code.
Of course, the trans community has figured out that one too. Your chromosomes have no correlation to the sex organs you were born with, and 20% of people were born intersex.
It isnt the same thing. A guy I went to HS with does drag shows. He is a gay guy, but he doesnt identify as a women, he does them for fun.
It’s the same. Crazy has actually been trans ever since that time he got dressed in the dark and slipped on a pair of his mommas silky panties by mistake.
So on Halloween if someone dresses up as a pumpkin I guess they are transgourd.
No, it isn't. Drag queens are often not trans. There are some who are, but many are not.
People who simply dress up as the other sex for entertainment don't have gender identity issues.

I educate myself on the issue by actually listening to what trans people have to say, not those who advocate for the trans community.

What makes a trans person different than an actor or a professional drag queen (some of whom may also be trans) is that the person feels in every way, shape, and form like a woman trapped in a man's body (or visa versa.) Over the centuries, trans people 'pretended' their way through life. What a tough way to live.

Here is one of the biggest trans voices on the internet. It's a 2 hour debate, but worth the time to find out what trans people really believe.
That's one of their sympathy plays. Because the trans community has a high rate of suicide they blame everybody else for not accepting them instead of looking inward. What is interesting about that is while acceptance has increased, the suicide rate has remained stable.
What is your point with this question?
Trans people, especially children dealing with trans identity issues, are much more likely to attempt suicide. So are gays. I wonder why? Maybe because there is a giant segment of the population that continues to insult them and treat them like second class citizens.

That's an easy 'yes' because I was ignorant about it growing up. All I knew about was transvestites and even that was pretty limited.
Mankind has learned more about human sexuality over the past 50 years than we had in all the thousands of years of our existence prior.

WTF? Any opinion at all begins with knowledge. I don't think I'm out-of-line to say that most Americans -- well beyond naive country boys like me -- didn't have a clue about the subject. Like me, I'm guessing most people knew something about transvestites and that was about it.

Yes I was. I'm consistent like that. Once again you are missing the point. If it's true that acceptance of transgenderism is rising, why isn't there a drop in the suicide rate among that community?
Well first, it would pretty hard to quantify the numbers you claim one way or another, and the cause and effect relationship.
Secondly, there is still a large segment of the population that isn't completely accepting. Children are still ridiculed in school at young ages, and even into adult life. Just the existence of this thread and the original Tweet are enough to show it is still not an easy life for trans, or homosexual, people. People still claim they are simply "pretending to be a different gender," and that they want to go into public bathrooms to sexually assault others, or play the other genders' sports for competitive advantage. They are treated with no respect or dignity by a large portion of society, including others in their own LGBT communities. It is an extremely tough life that I don't wish on anyone.
We need to treat them as human beings, help them deal with their issues. Provide them with counseling. Include them. Help them.
Not treat them like shit.

Maybe, this is one of those times when, instead of accusing them of 'playing for sympathy.' you might "look inward."
Damn right it's hard to prove the numbers, and yet the trans community is still playing the suicide card. I don't want anyone to kill themselves, but there are a lot of people in the trans community that try to hold people as emotion hostages with that sympathy card. Listen to their own words and it becomes as clear as day that it's what they're doing.
