Do you think if everyone wore a mask we might see a dramatic decline in the spread?
No. I don't think it makes a difference. The evidence shows that to likely be the case.

The last study I read showed a less than 2% improvement on wearing masks than not wearing masks. Of course, the likelihood of someone wearing a mask also probably means they were also social distancing, which is far more effective by any opinion.
Oh, so there's quantifiable statistics available regarding mask-wearing vs non-mask wearing throughout the country. Wow, who knew?
One statistic we do know is that countries with strict mask mandates have significantly lower covid death rates than countries who don't.
Let me guess: Unlike my statistics, YOUR "well, what I've heard" rumors are MUCH more reliable, right?
Who cares about other countries? That’s comparing apples and oranges. God forbid that you actually have taken a class in statistics. There are way many more variables comparing other countries to our own states.

Yep. As if completely shutting down is even possible. People have to eat, get medical care, and do thousands of jobs that keep everyone ALIVE.

When you have no answers to health officials' common sense guidelines, I guess the best you can do is to make fun of me -- an anonymous poster you don't know anything about beyond what I post. But if that's the best you can do, it would help if you were at least consistent.
I know this will sound wild and crazy to you but there are actually a sizable group of Americans like my wife and me who take the COVID guidelines seriously.
Am I sick and tired of them? Damn right I am. My wife and I LOVE to travel; and LOVE to eat out; and LOVE to go to movies and sporting events, etc., etc., etc. Heck, I was daydreaming today while waiting for my shot about flying to Vegas for a long weekend soon after my second shot.

If you followed every guideline every day, good for you. But it doesn’t seem like that’s the case given the evasive answer. You’d gladly shut us up if that were the truth.

Then what you’re saying is that after everyone has had the opportunity to get the vaccine, then we are done with masks because we aren’t wearing them for eternity. False, please overlay the various states or country vs. country onto a single graph and it's clear as day that there is now correlation to be found. Or simply remove the mitigation implementation dates (mask mandate, lockdown, etc.) from any of the graphs and try to identify when any of them went into effect, you can do it with any regularity. The virus particle is smaller than the stupid masks. We're not living in a laboratory, even if you can get them to do something in a lab study it doesn't necessarily work in the real world. Just find the stores that don't scream at you. I don't go to Walmart food store because they descended on me like a criminal before I got to the produce schedule. Literally across the street at publix I walk in no mask every time because they respect my human dignity. I've found that most places won't press it but you gotta have the stones to walk in and ignore them or tell them no. I've been yelled at many times, it's not that scary. Just laugh at the crazy maskers, they're true believers and will wear them forever because it makes them feel better than you, you're feeding into it when you engage with them.
Places in Seminole County that respect my right to walk around breathing God's fresh air:
-Publix
-Ace hardware
-Home depot
-My church
-Habaneros Mexican Restaurant
-The local donut shop in Oviedo
-Wawa (following a brief argument in spring 2020).
They all have policies because the laywers saud they have too, many places don't enforce it though, only one way to find out though, gotta gird your loins and walk in no mask.
Nice to know about Gators. Yeah we're beaching it in Brevard fairly often, thinking about moving out there the longer this persists.
