During Obama's first campaign in 2008, he lied to the American people when he said "the average family would see their PREMIUMS decrease by $2,500 per year" under his upcoming health care plan...something even back then the Dems knew was a lie...but they knew most voters would just eat up that and other lies ("hey, you can keep your favorite doctor too!").

Dem Party is smart (GOP less so)...they know most voters are stupid....as one can say anything to get elected...and then just come up with more lies in your next campaign to cover up your previous lies...and so on...and odds are, you will stay in power.

Not surprising. If the price of what you're insuring goes up, then the price of your insurance will go up. Healthcare costs were rising before the ACA and the ACA was not designed to fix it. It once again illustrates Washington's "correct the symptom, not what caused the symptom" mentality.

Tens of Millions of folks have already voted and by Friday...that number will probably be above 50 Million total...so even a late Oct surprised doesn't have the same impact as it once had.

This also could be the first national presidential election when the majority of voters cast their ballot PRIOR to the official election day.

Would be nice for insurers to be able to offer plans across state lines...but that is one of the main reason why certain areas/states the prices for certain plans cost sooooo darn much.
