One of the most exciting and best games in the past 5 years

• Houston is a great team. Watched their TV games, and they have the best offense in the league.
• Grey's a magician, making 3 shots while an inch from Tacko, and still had the energy to shut down taller Matt Williams in the second half. Still, Matt had half our assists (6 of 12).
• Women's softball team introduced at the game.
• A minute of silence for two police who died last week.
• Nice crowd and nearly full student section for a weekend. What did they have to give away?
• Tacko continued playing tentatively, they collapsed on him as other teams have learned to, but his teammates definitely awakened him by getting him the ball more.
• In the last few minutes, Matt, A.J., and BJ intercepted passes. BJ's was amazing.
• After 12 UCF turnover in first half, it was UCF that forced or frustrated Houston into turnovers.
• Just a battle of wills! Both teams knew how important this game was and we came to play.
• It was a 9 Tuba Marching Knights (14 is a full complement), and they were rocking the house.
• Banyard was at half strength after rolling an ankle against UConn, so than goodness Tank came to play. Tank said on radio post game he practiced with Matt who gave him pointers this week.
• Amazing that we outshot on 3s one of the top-shooting teams, Houston.
• Back to balanced scoring like earlier in the season. That's when Dawkins' team does best.
• We're 4-1 in the AAC, tied for second with SMU, 1/2 game back of 4-0 Cincy, 1/2 game up on Tulsa (3-1) that just nipped Temple. USF hanging in vs. Memphis down 8 with 5 minutes left.
• Quick turnaround vs. USF Tuesday at CFE. Seems like team's got it's swagger back.

USF put a quite a scare in the big home crowd at Memphis (13-15) yesterday with a 7-0 run at the end.
Perhaps firing their joke of a coach helped.

Very fun game. Houston is legit. Several times we had 10-11 point lead and Houston came roaring back to make it close. Often times makes really difficult shots. This team stood firm. And came back with key bucket when we needed it.

Huge win.

The tailgating seemed pretty good. I see that more for the students. Plenty of room for everyone.

After watching the UCF game the NFL games were anti-climatic. Go Knights!
