I believe we will conduct another national search for our next President. However, it seems like the BoT is in no rush to find a permanent replacement.

it will be interesting to see if the School's Mission changes. Whittaker was focusing on access to undeserved communities as one of his main focal points.
What people have said is that it was pretty widely known that DW was the clear front runner; therefore, a lot of top candidates didn’t want to apply and risk the exposure the process brings. This time - we don’t have a front runner, so hopefully those candidates apply this time. It’s all speculation.
Yeah but you go through the process to get your name out there for the next job. You can say you were a finalist at UCF. It’s the Rooney rule
The Rooney Rule only states you have to interview a minority. They’ve interviewed ST coaches to comply knowing full well he wouldn’t even be taken seriously. The other teams weren’t impressed with the coach because of that either. Not quite comparable.
Makes sense that he’d be owed something. Hope they take it out of the right financial bucket, though...
