Poll: Are you proud to be an American?

One of the things that annoys me most about the conservative members on this board and the conservative media is this notion that because we see issues with the USA, we are somehow "un-American".
We LOVE this country and that's why we want it to be the best it can be. Each side has different views points of how that USA looks like, that's all.
Edit: Also - just because one likes other countries policies, does not mean they aren't proud to be an American. You should be allowed to criticize the place you love.

And one thing that annoys me with liberal members of this board, and the liberal media, is that they view the idea of Patriotism as nothing but right wing xenophobia and being "scared" to look at how other countries do things, or what we don't do that well.
Im no more proud to be an American than i am proud of being a man or white (mostly). I am proud of the founding of the country and how it was focused on personal liberty but I personally wasnt involved so i cant take personal pride in it. I still believe that because of our foundation that America is the absolute best place in the world to live and I'm very much grateful for being born here.

The problem I have is when people hypocritically criticize the US, but then laud other countries who are far worse.
Immigration is a perfect example.

When the US media criticizes Trump for saying things that are true, this really makes me shake my head. I didn't vote for Trump, but I'm done 'kissing @$$' for things other countries do far worse.
But I'm a true, isolationist Libertarian, and want to pull out of NATO and out of the Middle East, and other things. So I know I'm atypical.

I've purchased an extra ticket from Knightbeer before, he has great seats and a sweet tailgate set up right near the stadium.
