The UCF Knights men's soccer team suffered a first round exit in the Sun Belt tournament at the hands of South Carolina, 2-1. The Knights have had a historic season reaching the #1 ranking in the country during the latter part of the regular season, but they must now wait to see their fate in the NCAA tournament.

Head Coach Scott Calabrese and Defender Anderson Rosa met with the media after the match.

They are 1-2 since claiming the number 1 ranking. They are frauds, and just an above average team. It is what it is, and they ARE NOT who we thought they were. Nonetheless I will continue to support them because they wear a UCF jersey. I just have realistic expectations of a one and done ncaa tourney run much like their Sunbelt tourney run losing in the first round to a team with a losing record. I call em like I see em.

Maybe they can get their stuff together for a deep run in the playoffs.
