Recruiting Update Thread

That de-commits have nothing to do with Gus Malzahn retiring or not. Unlike last year…these are kids other programs want. Two years of losing changes the perception .

Look at the fans and booster reaction this year…same with recruits. You think these kids want him to stay and that’s why the are de-committing? Who told you that? LOL.
I think it’s less about Gus specifically and more about the perception of instability within the program. Nobody wants to commit to a program where nobody knows who the coach will be next year.

That’s part of it..losing is a larger part, specially losing in consecutive years. I have been through this.

Doesn’t matter if they want him to stay or not. They know he isn’t. That’s why decomitting. Just hoping we don’t go cheap route and keep the current staff.

I have been watching college football since I was nine years old. The first college game I ever watched was the Miami vs Nebraska 1983 championship game. My older cousins and uncle explained the game to me as we were watching.

I have seen five national championships…three in person. I subscribed to the quarterly recruiting newsletters from Tom Lemming and Max Emfinger since I was 13 (1987). I trabeled to just about all the away game in my 20’s. I have seen the very best and I have seen the bad as well.

TLDR, go away and never come back. No one likes you.

I know more about college football and recruiting than all of you UCF fans and all of the people who cover your team put together.
Your college football knowledge or lack thereof is not what makes you an imbecile. The fact that you choose to spend your free time on another team's board. A team that has almost nothing to do with the team you like, to beat your chest about your team and try to put down the team whose board you're on. That makes you an imbecile.

I was born the same year as you. I was watching football with my Grampa at 4 yrs. I was a Penn St and Pitt fan. I remember the cocksucker UM teams showing up in Fatigues. They got humbled.

On Jayvan Boggs…I don’t expect him to sign with UCF. He has not attended a UCF game in months and he no longer tags UCF staffers/coaches in his social media posts.

Jayvan was an FSU lock to flip there but FSU’s 2025 QB commit got forecasted to flip to UF. Atkins and Dugans got canned.

FSU is desperate for 2025 WRs as they don’t have by committed at the moment. Norvell is recruiting Boggs personally (they offered like a month ago after they lost their commits).

Boggs already stated in an interview that he will make a final decision on signing day and that UCF/FSU are his two finalists. I believe Norvell beats Malzone at the end.

Thoughts?
