Republicans in Michigan have Blocked Certification in a County Biden needs to Win.

I'll add that a case like this, if it's as big as they claim it to be, will take years to complete. Thats why their goal is to just get the court to put a stay on the election, not to have them overturn it. All they need is a believable preponderance of evidence to accomplish that right now.

Yeah. After all they are still trying to get the evidence for who shot JFK (Ted Cruz’s dad), alien coverups, 9/11 inside job, Bigfoot, and the Loch Ness monster. Some of this stuff can take years to gather.

Your confirmation bias is showing. Can you not wait for a couple of weeks before claiming its just a hoax?

No because I watched the press conference. Venezuela, Cuba, China, Hugo Chavez, Antifa, BLM, George Soros, dominion software, Smartmatic, aren’t all conspiring to take an action to “switch votes” in a computer system. Mainly because the elections have been recanvased and some manually recounted without a shred of evidence that anything like this occurred. The people who believe this stuff don’t understand how elections work and how each county is it’s own distinct entity for election purposes. If there were evidence out there we would have some glimpse of it based on post election activities that have occurred nationwide. It wouldn’t exist solely on QAnon forums and in the mind of a single QAnon sympathizer who happens to be a member of the bar.

Put a stay on the election? Well that would be unconstitutional wouldn't it. Not that you actually give a shit about the constitution.

Way to piss all over the Constitution, Mr. "Libertarian" (scare quotes for effect).

You cannot put a stay on Election..Electors nust be chosen by a certain day.. The supreme court didn't allow a recount in Florida during Bush Election because the recount would have taken them past date Electors met...These court hangups cannot exceed that...Also some states like Michigan just awards electoral votes to who has highest popular...

You have to make discovery requests. If you don't ask for it, the other side doesn't have to provide it. The strategy is to wait until the last minute, dump their findings all at once in court, and try to convince the justices to put a stay on certifying the electors pending the outcome of the case.
This post belongs in the 'How stupid are Trump's lawyers?' thread.

All that being the case, Gore didn't concede until December 13th and pursued legal action pretty much until then. Since it's only November 20th now, we have a bit of time before we even get to that bar.

Facepalm. Yes, the court can put a stay on an election. It kicks the issue back to the legislature to deal with how to apportion their EC votes or not send them at all. They are not required to send electors at all.

Well, then what's your issue?

The results of the 2000 election were not evident before that time. One state decided the election and that state had a 300 vote margin. Easily within the range of reasonably being reversed after a recount (see 2008 Minnesota senate election). We are talking about the need to flip 3-4 states that all have margins in excess of 10k votes. If you think the situations are comparable you aren’t having an honest discussion.

I have never in my Life have seen so many lies in a Press conference. It's like it was written by many on this board.

So you don't have an issue with the possibility of voter fraud because other issues are more important?

This isnt an honest discussion. Yes, everyone has an issue with voter fraud. But the part you arent acknowledging, is that there is no evidence of voter fraud. You are wanting people to have an issue with something, that no one has been able to provide any evidence of even happening.

I'm not wanting people to have an issue with anything. I just don't want them to dismiss what actually might be a problem out of hand because it meets their confirmation bias. There is nothing wrong with considering the "what if" until there is proof that the "what if" doesn't exist. If nothing comes from this, great. I'm cool with that. If something does come from this, will you guys be able to overcome what you had already decided to be true in spite of evidence to the contrary?

I've said there's maybe a 5% chance of there being anything there. Thats pretty skeptical but it isnt the same as saying there is a zero % chance like you guys have already accepted.

But again, this isnt an honest discussion. You are wanting people to take the "what if" seriously, without any evidence showing the "what if" might have even happened. If someone actually presents credible evidence of voter fraud, then we can have an honest discussion about it. At this point, the Trumper's are wanting people to take a hypothetical event, and treat it as reality. There are plenty of things I would have an issue with if they actually happened, but if I dont see any indication they are happening, then what am I supposed to take issue with exactly? I mean, I would have an issue with space aliens going around the country probing all of our butt holes too, but since no one has provided any evidence of that happening, it isn't something really on my concern radar. And at this point, there is no more evidence of voter fraud than there is of space aliens doing mass probings around the country.

You can’t prove the non existence of something. You can make claims founded in credible evidence. What has happened here is claims were made (prior to the election even and going back years and years) not founded in credible evidence. Now after the fact people are told to let it play out to see if evidence turns up that supports the claims. That’s not how things really work. Until there is credible evidence shown to support a claim, it is correct to dismiss the claim.

Pee tape?

So Georgia has officially certified the results. That leaves Trump needing to overturn the voting results in all three of MI WI and PA in order to win.

Only the dumbest dipshits think this is possible and the truth of the matter is that it's time to allow Biden to begin his transition efforts. It was time 2 weeks ago.

What transition efforts does Biden need to have? He already knows where the White House basement is, i would think.

Trump still thinks he won the election. Dumb ass said so yesterday in his first presser since the loser lost and has been hiding out in his basement. He's going to draw this shit out as long as he possibly can because he's a fukcing child who has an IQ of 67.

Not saying much but at least he can hold a thought. Did you hear dementia man's speech about the national guard and governors? Embarrassing. Biden after claiming he was first in his class was discovered he was almost dead last. He was never smart even pre-dementia.
No one is talking about qualifications in this thread. This is the coup thread.

Trump is a national embarrassment. Move on. You don't need to resort to your Pavlovian "DERPY DERP, BIDEN HAS DIMENSIA! "

Stay on topic...
