That's ok. It's one of the laws of the universe: if you jinx something else, the initial jinx is unjinxed, null and void.
Also, there is a mugging every 10 minutes in Rio, yet they deem it a priority to allocate resources to track down two people that weren't mugged.
These Olympics have kinda sucked. I am glad 'Murica is doing well but there is absolutely no energy from the shitty people of Brazil during the events. The stadiums aren't even half empty because the assholes in Brazil don't even care to show up. I never thought the Atlanta Olympics could be outdone in terms of being a shit show but congrats Brazil, you and your clown asshat citizens have done it. Bravo.
Rio will go down as the second worst Olympics ever. Munich 1972 still wins the worst, so far.
