I think you're being a bit overly dramatic for a tropical storm that's probably going to hit 200 miles away from Orlando. When a game is postponed of canceled it rarely has to do anything with playing in a storm. It's all the resources and logistics that is no longer available as there is more important things to do than make sure a football game has security, emergency services, and traffic control.
Can go ahead with the game being understaffed or no staff and see how that works out for the experience.
That being said no idea if this storm will actually require the resources, won't know till Tuesday.

But snowflakes gonna flake
Yep... lightning is no joke and a huge risk. If it's raining...game on.Football is played in rain. Just not when there is lightning or 70 mph winds.
BNGAD....man I'm hoping this thing hangs a left!!!! Any chance to play the game Friday or Saturday?Football is played in rain. Just not when there is lightning or 70 mph winds.
I heard it’s only hitting west coast on Wednesday. Should be ok Thursday.BNGAD....man I'm hoping this thing hangs a left!!!! Any chance to play the game Friday or Saturday?
I've been talking to some fans over on a Kent State message board. No one there has mentioned anything yet to me about the team's travel plans. When does Kent St. fly in….Wednesday?
Kent State has 900k points of interest. Go worry about Miami getting blown out by Miami OH.Too risky. Safety needs to come first. There’s ZERO interest in this unnecessary game. CANCEL!
If it needs to be postponed, they usually just cancel it.I would think the could move the game to Saturday if necessary, no?
considering your attendance (butts in the seats), it's not a big deal when a game is cancelled.Too risky. Safety needs to come first. There’s ZERO interest in this unnecessary game. CANCEL!
I wonder why that is? Logistics? TV? other? If it needs to be postponed, they usually just cancel it.
More often if it impacts the rest of the schedule. If the push (which it wouldn't) created a scenario that made it a short travel week to Boise St, I would bet UCF would choose to cancel.I wonder why that is? Logistics? TV? other?
Agree.More often if it impacts the rest of the schedule. If the push (which it wouldn't) created a scenario that made it a short travel week to Boise St, I would bet UCF would choose to cancel.
No, because they'll want to let all the employees who are working the game have Labor Day weekend off. The game would probably be moved to another season.I would think the could move the game to Saturday if necessary, no?
Obviously, you didn't get enough attention earlier, so here's another helping. Dang, you're a hungry troll.Cancel. It’s meaningless. SAFETY FIRST!
If you are going by meaningless games, then Miami might as well cancel their season after week 2 because you wont have any more meaningful games after the L to A&M.Cancel. It’s meaningless. SAFETY FIRST!
