Yeah it was a good tough game but as far as blowing out or competing in conference is going to be tough.
I take back my earlier concerns. The big guy has improved noticeably the past few games. He looks more comfortable and confident. That's a very important step forward for his game and for the team. Now we need the injured players back and Johnny must identify everyone's role, the right combinations and get their buy-in. Just one preseason game left before we start the conference season but, if it works out, our depth will be a huge benefit.
A couple of games ago Johnny said that Mikey had recovered from his injury but was under the weather....but that was well over a week ago. So, I gotta give it a hmmm as well. Could he be redshirted? I also noticed that Tyler Hendricks hasn't been playing, and I thought he looked pretty good in limited minutes in a couple of games. He's been attached to the bench but isn't he already a redshirt?

Hendricks played yesterday. He’s just not good. He’s only here because of being a package deal. I’m good with that. Johnny doing right to get his brother. Mikey needs to get into playing shape. That takes a couple weeks. But even before he got hurt, the interviews didn’t peg him as a starter. Sellers will start when he comes back. Mikey will probably be 8th man but I like our depth.
