I know we see the name South Carolina St. as our first opponent and we are all thinking a blowout. Just bringing it to everyone’s attention that we are facing a pretty good opponent in week 1.

* They won 6 of their last 7 games last year including a bowl win over Deion Sanders 11 win Jackson St team 31-10.
* They return 18 starters (9 on both sides of the ball).
* WR #1 Davis is 6’5 and going to be a problem.

This team looks just as good as Tulane, usf, East Carolina, etc.

Good. Sometimes FCS teams are so bad I feel our guys don't get enough of a challenge to improve their game.

If i had to guess it will be Johnny Rich. Bowser will grind out some 5-10 yard runs but Johnny will likely break one long

I took them a bit lightly at first because, in our three previous matchups against them, we've shut them out each time. You're right, this is a good SC State team. Our guys do need to prepare for this opponent as hard as for anyone else.

Looking forward to seeing the new uniforms on TV. I think they've grown on me a bit but I've only seen them on my phone. I'm hoping the new numbers and lettering looks good.

I know some people thought the old font was a rip off of MSU but it wasn't exactly. Plus our primary athletics logo still has the same cuts (if you call them that) in it. Wondering if they're going to update our main logo.

Agree. Gus really doesn't run up the score. UCF will win convincingly, but Gus will do everything in his power to call off the dogs. TWill seems a lot of respect for SCS coach Oliver Pough.

I read that they may have a safety and a DE out. They may have some talent but depth on defense is why i think we drop at least a 40 burger on them. Dont see us running it too high but 45/49 -14/20ish sounds about right

If I remember correctly our contract with ESPN requires us to have at least one game per season on ESPN+.
