i'm not questioning the ESPN+ part. it could be on Saturday and on ESPN+, it's not like all their timeslots are full.
I’ll take the extra day of rest / prep before Louisville.
I like the way our schedule is setup. We can an extra day of prep for Louisville and an extra day for our first road game at fau. Later in the season we get a bye week before temple and an extra day of prep before the ecu trip. Hopefully this helps the injury bug that killed us last year
I think this is a ucf athletics decision not dictated about networks . if we are playing a fcs team they want the game on Thursday of Labor Day weekend
I was hoping the rain would hit mid afternoon and cool things down, so the evening thunderstorms would not develop. Weather is not looking good at 7pm. Looks like this game will finish late.

If any of you guys are Orlando City fans, you’ve seen what the weather issues were like the last 2 games. That’s what we could expect tonight. There was a 1 hour and 45 minute delay last night
Accuweather has 51% chance at kickoff, then dropping to 25% rest of evening.
Weather channel follows 79% at kickoff, then dropping to 40%. Nobody really knows
Completely forgot about the holiday weekend. That’s definitely a factor.
if it is going to storm I am rooting for it to hit at like 10pm early-mid 4th quarter and have the rest of the game called off..much better scenario than a delay
Only thing I don't miss about Orlando is having to plan around the later afternoon thunderstorms.
Rain doesnt matter. They play in rain. It’s lightning. Some sports its 8 mile radius. Not sure what football is. Typically 30 minutes from last strike.
no Domes looks stale unless you have Jerry money which we don’t.shade/rain panels need to be added though
Orlando Labor Day weekend weather is more of a reason to seek a neutral site matchup in Atlanta though to start a season
As our first game I don't think we will under estimate them. The players are excited to get out there and hit someone for real.
Weather outlook is a little concerning after last years opener. If there's a rain delay maybe I'll turn on the OKST game.

It was 78F degrees at kick off and perfect weather. You guys who didn't show up due to the 'weather' really missed out.
