That has been a fun discussion to follow on the Crap Pen. Basically, one poster with common sense (Michibull) said that in 2007, even though we got stomped, the fact that we pulled ourselves up from that loss to win the conference was more significant than their "high profile" wins to get to #2 (then fall apart) because it was a major building block in the foundation of the program. And he was right....
But of course the myopians and the idiots started to attack him that winning conference titles were irrelevant to our success (along with the other escapees) and eventual conference change. The guy leading the attack was none other than their resident forum idiot puc86, who was pulling thoughts and feelings out of his ass while Michibull was using facts and figures to make the point.
It was an exchange that Mike Judge should be using in Idiocracy 2.
A great example why no higher conference should be interested in them, they feel their current conference (which they have NEVER done anything in) is beneath them.
