Spring 2024 Transfer Portal Thread

I was leaning Arkansas.

Can't sign them all with only one (or two) scholarship(s) left and multiple guys on the board.
He WHIFFED! Gus Malzon got stuffed in a locker by Mike Norvell…old head is getting bullied on the recruiting trail.

Lol.

Who do you think got Cam Riley to decommit from NC State? The tooth fairy?

Gus has to choose between a slot receiver or edge defender or left tackle with the final one or two scholarships.

Ja'Varrius Johnson, Chris Hardie, and a left tackle to be named are the candidates.

Gus Malzon badly needs OL and RB and wasting all the NIL on RBs, DBs and QBs. Watch all the young UCF RBs that come in August transferring in December because they got zero burn. Too dumb.

Martínez better than all of the UCF RBs. You know how football works? RB: one guy in and he gets the ball. WR: 3-4 guys in and the open guy gets the ball.
Martinez is not better than either of Harvey or Boone lmfao you’re such a loser! Damien is a total cancer

Yeah...

6 Teams Winning College Football's Spring Transfer Portal Window

"Colorado and UCF made key pickups on both sides of the ball, while Oklahoma's additions in the trenches could pay huge dividends as it moves to the SEC in '24."

UCF
"The Knights made a big splash in the first window by landing Arkansas transfer quarterback KJ Jefferson, who should be a perfect fit for coach Gus Malzahn's offense."

"But Malzahn wasn't satisfied with just adding Jefferson and a handful of transfers in the first window, as UCF added contributors on both sides of the ball this spring. Receiver Jacoby Jones (Ohio) and running back Peny Boone (Louisville/Toledo) add to a group of playmakers that should be among the best in the Big 12. Also, Miami transfer Jacurri Brown solidifies the backup spot behind Jefferson."

"A struggling defense also got needed reinforcements. Sheldon Arnold II (East Tennessee State), Tre'Quon Fegans (USC), and Cedrick Hawkins (Ohio State) help a secondary that allowed 7.3 yards per pass attempt in the Big 12 last season. Also, Miami transfer Nyjalik Kelly adds a talented pass rusher to the front."

Little confused here.

You said your "sources" said Cam was overvaluing himself and asking for too much NIL money.

I said--and have said on NUMEROUS occasions--Gus WILL NOT overpay for a RB, S, QB, OL, LB, anything.

So I am glad Cam Riley got overpaid for his services. It will be fun watching him throw Cam Ward around like a rag doll against the sh*tty u offensive line.

Gus Malzon paid over $500k for a 270 pounds QB/IOL.

Of the guys left on the board...

WR: Johnson (UCF offer) is the best fit offensively. ... Knows the offense. ... Has the trust of Gus and KJ. ... Capable of dismantling a slot corner as UCF's No. 3 receiver.

LB: Elijah Herring {UCF offer) is the most impactful defender left on the board. ... Potential starter at MLB.

CB Cormani McClain (UCF offer) is the highest ranked player on the board.

EDGEs: Chris Hardie (UCF offer), Terrell Allen, Adin Huntington, and Anthony Dunn Jr represent the biggest remaining defensive need: an ELITE pass rush specialist. Hardle has a background similar to UCF's Shaun Peterson Jr. ... Allen was the best defensive player in the FCS. .... Huntington was All-Sun Belt. ... Dunn Jr. was the best pass rusher among HBU's and is an Orlando native.

OL: Isaiah Wright or Bruno Fina (unoffered?) would be a great pickup if he is willing to sit on the bench. . Wright is a three-year starter at left tackle. ... Fina helped UCLA has the top rushing offense in the PAC-12.

UCF has 40 offensive players on scholarship, 40 defensive players on scholarship, and 4 special teams players on scholarship.

Where the final scholarship goes is anyone's guess. I assume UCF will sign the best overall player available.

Lol. You are such a clown. A few days ago you said that Johnson visited TAMU and did not commit. He never did visit (not good enough).

Also said that Johnson was a UCF silent and would commit as soon as the portal closed (April 30). Go away fraud.

READ DUMB@SS....

Despite the good news, Bostick’s commitment fills another open spot, leading to the news that former Auburn WR Ja’Varrius Johnson, who visited College Station last Friday, will not visit the Aggies going forward, according to Jaxson Callaway, professionally known as AggiesToday.

NEWS: Auburn WR transfer Ja’Varrius Johnson will no longer be visiting Texas A&M.

--30--

Ja'Varrius Johnson has eliminated Texas A&M.

Hey clown. You said he visited and did not commit. You are a fraud and a well known simp. You are a low level information scavanger. Stop embarrassing yourself.

You also said over and over that Johnson was a UCF silent commit and would make it official after the portal closed (April 30). Freaking clown.

He DID visit you DUMB@$$!!! He visited May 3-5. He 'WON'T be visiting there' in the future, meaning he has eliminated Texas A&M from contention.

(His sleezy 'MIAMI-based' agent is trying to get him another free trip on another school's dime somewhere. He has already been to East Lansing, Tucson, College Station, and Orlando.)

Ja'Varrius was never going to Texas A&M to begin with. He was just playing that bammer turncoat, who is whoring out scholarships to any portal WR who will listen. H*LL, A&M literally took an Iowa WR transfer and is chasing a North Dakota State WR transfer right now. It reeks of desperation!

Everything I said in a nutshell is here....

Ja'Varrius Johnson is a "silent" commit to UCF.

Ja'Varrius Johnson will commit to UCF AFTER the portal closes.

Ja'Varrius Johnson is now 'enjoying' the recruiting process as a grad transfer because (a) he committed to Auburn early in junior year and (b) took only one official visit (to Auburn of course.)

I maintain as I have always maintained that he is going to UCF. His options are UCF, Michigan State, or Arizona.

(B) Desert
(C) Magic Kingdom

How hard of a choice that?

UCF had 42 offensive players with scholarships last year. It has 40 offensive players on scholarships this year. Gus will use the last one or two scholarships for offense *I think*.

Where else will Gus find a "slot WR" capable of joining the team in the fall and contributing immediately for a starting spot?

The dude played in Gus system for two seasons. He played on the same team as Kobe Hudson. He played four seasons of high school football under Gus's first quarterback Josh Floyd at Hewitt-Trussville HS.

If there was ever a UCF transfer who was more 'put on a tee' than Ja'Varrius Johnson, I would have to see it.

He NEVER visited TAMU clown. That report is wrong. If he just visited why should he visit again instead of enrolling for the Summer term? TAMU told him NO. You literally make up crap in every post.

You are such a clown know nothing. Malzahn homunculus. Delete your account!

Ja'Varrius and his agent "announced" that Ja'Varrius won't be going back to Texas A&M to make a point.

Your lack of reading comprehension matches your low IQ. So his visited Friday but had an OV for three days? That’s not how it works.

If he had an OV why would he visits again? Lol, he’s not a high school recruit but a transfer.

Quit quoting blogs and then changing what was said. Clown.

Ja'Varrius Johnson was scheduled to start his visit Wednesday.

However, conflicting reports are now surfacing:

"-The Aggies were expected to host Auburn transfer Ja'Varrius Johnson for a visit beginning Wednesday but a source close to his recruitment said the trip did not end up taking place after A&M added Iowa transfer receiver Jacob Bostick on Wednesday."

But both stories involve offering a slot WR while another slot WR is supposed to be visiting.

-------------

Only Ja'Varrius knows the whole story.

All I DO KNOW is this is good for UCF and Gus!
