Strzok/Page texts confirm Obama FBI illegally spied on Trump transition team

As I said before, when it's all said and done, Petr Strzok, Lisa Page, and Obama's DOJ/FBI will be the actual story of collusion and abuse of power to come out of all of this.

Text messages between former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page indicate they discussed using briefings to the Trump team after the 2016 election to identify people they could “develop for potential relationships,” track lines of questioning and “assess” changes in “demeanor” – language one GOP lawmaker called “more evidence” of irregular conduct in the original Russia probe.

Fox News has learned the texts, initially released in 2018 by a Senate committee, are under renewed scrutiny, with GOP Sens. Chuck Grassley and Homeland Security Committee chair Ron Johnson sending a letter Thursday night to Attorney General Bill Barr pushing for more information on the matter.

“Any improper FBI surveillance activities that were conducted before or after the 2016 election must be brought to light and properly addressed,” the senators wrote.

Why this is illegal, as set forth by Mueller himself:

“Based on the formal training all FBI Employees were required to undergo and be tested on with regard to DIOG Sensitive Investigative Matters, these texts indicate both FBI employees were executing investigative strategies on a sensitive investigative matter without any regard for the Mueller/Holder endorsed DOJ DIOG,” Timothy Gill Sr. told Fox News.

Should I hold my breath waiting for them to post the story about the media’s malpractice in the way they reported the Russia collusion conspiracy for more than 2 years. Or the way the WaPo published yet another opinion as late as March 29th of this year claiming that Trump was elected with Russia’s help? Or the strategy meetings that CNN, MSNBC, the NUT and WaPo attend with the DNC to determine messaging?

When you’re going to push a mantra that “Democracy dies in the dark,” I’m assuming that you’re going to explore all sides of the issues that you cover. Or are they going to follow their well-established practice of only shedding the light on stories and topics favorable to one side while screaming about Fox News doing the same thing.

Actually, they've been on-point for some of this, and ahead of the mainstream media who had to cover it later. Same with Judicial Watch, who is a Libertarian -- not Conservative -- group (they go after Trump too).

I've never seen a media organization actually advocate for the shutdown of another media organization. Meanwhile, Fox News defended Acosta against the administration. CNN didn't do the same for a Fox News investigative report in 2009 ... other than one, single talking head at CNN ... and then we found out they were all tapped some 4 years later, which is how they narrowed it to Fox News.

Oh look, now we find out that that the frigging Deputy Assistant Sec of State flagged that most of Steele's bullshit was obviously false a full 10 days before Strzok submitted the FISA application, using this fake news dossier. And now we know that 1.) He didn't mention it was paid Oppo research and 2.) Didn't mention that the 3rd ranking State official had just shit all over the validity of the claims just 10 days prior.
