"Gus just needs more time"? GTFOH....he's had 4 years! The only thing that could save Gus' quickly deteriorating reputation is if Rizk or EJ emerges as a competent QB and leads us on an end of year win streak. Nonetheless, Gus has made far too many mistakes in his 4 years here (lowlighted by his choice of new QB's that he's brought in and the handling of the existing QB's that he's forced out of our program). It's time that he hops off the bus and btw, you need to leave along with him.

Darin Hinshaw has done a great job coaching our only returning (and our best) QB, Dylan Rizk. So, repeat after me you dumb ass....his name is Darin Hinshaw. He is our QB coach and will succeed if Gus gets the hell out of his way!
Darin recognized him early on as well. Gus just didn’t think he was worthy of a chance.
If that is true, kudos to Coach Hinshaw! Too bad Gus hired Coach Hinshaw and then doesn't listen to him or perhaps recognize his talents.
Gus has eyes. If he doesn’t see the QB that’s better to win games he has to go. Mikey Keene was decent. Rizk is better than him and TC. How was he not the starter week 4 minimum?
Not only was he not the starter, he was 4th string....4th string! Can you imagine that after watching the game yesterday? With his inability to recognize the top talent and start a QB who can win FB games, Gus has got to go and the sooner the better.
I just posted this on another thread but he didn’t want Rizk to play last week. He wanted EJ. EJ refused so Gus reluctantly went with Rizk. It’s not even debatable how bad the others were and how good he is and Gus didn’t want to play him.
Yep...I've heard the same...reluctant or not, he had no choice but to play Dylan against BYU. It's truly a shame that the only way Gus makes a good QB decision is when he has no other choice...think about it...what a joke for a HC!

Unfortunately I think the actions on Monday, firing Roof and giving up play calling (supposedly), are an indication Gus' seat was warm and he got rid of Roof (rightfully so) to save his ass.
I think we're stuck with Gus for another year now. In fact unless we suffer through a truly abysmal season like 0-1 FBS wins, I think we're stuck with Gus until he retires.
