I disagree with firing Ted Roof. I thought he made excellent halftime adjustments throughout the season. I was especially impressed with Roof in the second half of the Florida game.

Gary Patterson was always the top guy I wanted at DC. I made this clear in the offseason, and I am reaffirming it now.

Just as I said in the offseason...

UCF needs to move Kenny Martin to an off-the- field position and hire a real bucks coach. Kam Martin needs to be replaced by Tim Harris. Darwin Hinshaw needs to be fired for destroying Gus's quarterbacks. So e QB coach he turned out to be.

Gus just needs more time to get all the pieces in place.

Who indeed! Definitely someone who is not significant enough for anyone to know his name. Let alone be worthy enough of coaching QBs at UCF ....

Darwin cannot get this QB room to evolve. All of the current QBs under Hinshaw have regressed.

"Gus just needs more time"? GTFOH....he's had 4 years! The only thing that could save Gus' quickly deteriorating reputation is if Rizk or EJ emerges as a competent QB and leads us on an end of year win streak. Nonetheless, Gus has made far too many mistakes in his 4 years here (lowlighted by his choice of new QB's that he's brought in and the handling of the existing QB's that he's forced out of our program). It's time that he hops off the bus and btw, you need to leave along with him.
