With that #1 overall NFL pick, Miami finished the season 1-3, losing to Georgia Tech and Syracuse and then losing their bowl game to Iowa State.
That doesn't strike me as 'building a championship program.'

I had this same discussion with the few good posters left on the WC. It didn't matter what any of us did or didn't do. The forum's trolls took delight in trashing the place, especially since they knew there were zero consequences for bad behavior.

This is not good news for most CFB fans, especially Big XII fans. With the exception of Okie State, every other Big XII Athletic Department is seriously in the red (spending more than they're generating in revenue.) In fact only 13 universities operate with a surplus (12 of the 13 are in the B1G or SEC.)
