Many players will show an upside-down U this season, unfortunately. Cam Ward is gone. And yes, Carson Beck is certainly one of the football players of all time. You'll get revenge against Syracuse, which last year, practically eliminated the Hurricanes from the CFP. I have to also go with the fact that the U has not won an ACC football title in its history. This season will be no different.
WOW. Miami is in the running again for a fourth consecutive 'Summer Hype Natty.' Shame the Canes have yet to win their shitty conference.

If a QB is not good enough…there’s not a coach on Earth that can shape him into being good, simple as that. UCF wanted Pribula from Penn State but $1.3M over two years is not nearly enough. It also doesn’t help to have a QB with zero experience as a QB coach.
Again, it comes down to Terry Mohajir not providing the necessary resources for staff and players and spending the money on things that can wait.
Get Pribula, a decent WR and a couple of decent OL and the entire outlook for 2025 changes. But, no worries, a lazy river is getting built.
FWIW, Joe Burrow lost the starting job at OSU and left to start elsewhere.
My point was simply to not assume a back-up on one team can't become a star on another.
The point is that you are focusing on an extreme outlier. The kid is a JAG at best and he’s on his third school (failed in the first 2). Also, OSU is not Indiana.
UCF attempted very few long passes in the Spring and for a good reason…Jackson can’t throw deep and floats the ball up for grabs.
We'll see how he fares this fall.
FYI, Indiana's starting QB last season, Kurtis Rourke, was voted Second Team All-Big Ten Conference ahead of Ohio State's Will Howard and behind only Dillon Gabriel.

It's one thing to argue about a QB's effectiveness during the season. But what does arguing about it IN MAY accomplish? Let's wait and have fans see for themselves.
