The offense is hopeless with this OL. Period.

An OL that can't get anything going pass or rush blocking and a promising freshman QB who has to spend all game in 3rd and double digits. And you wonder why MM forces some bad passes.

It's all upfront and it may be the worst in the conference.

Promising but his run as the QB might well find to an end next season. He has so many bad tendencies and deficiencies right now. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Offensive line looked similar this year vs Tulane as last year. Difference was better skill players, offense, and Milton was more mobile than Schneider.

Agree 1000%. Frosty has to FIX this O-line, sooner than later! :-/

Against their reserves after the game was decided. Also, Holman was accurate for only second time this season. Finally, he took advantage of a defense trying to stop us from running the clock down. It was nice to see Justin relaxed and show real touch on his passes. He gets over excited when he starts games.

Holman didn't seem to have a problem with the o-line.
UCF's offense had 4 possessions the entire 2nd half.
#1) Score is 7-6 UCF, Tulane forces a 3&Out
#2) Score is 7-6 UCF, after Tulane fumble, Tulane stops UCF on 4th&1
#3) Score is 20-6 UCF, Tulane is reeling and defense is looking for a reason to quit. MM drives 50 yards, just misses Akins for a TD, UCF kicks FG
#4) Score is 30-6 UCF, Tulane has given up. Holman scores TD.

You really think drive #4 is apples to apples with drive #1, #2, or even #3?

It takes longer than 9 months to fix an oline.
Frost recruited a great oline class last year. We will see them next year and they will develop even more by the time they are juniors.
Jordan Johnson (fr)
Bowman Swanson (fr)
Aaron Dowdell (fr)

We also have some young underclassman with talent.
Tyler Hudanick (so)
Luke Palmer (r-so)
Wyatt Miller (r-so)

I only see us improving the next 2 years. That's without any recruits getting into the lineup.
Viktor Beach 6'5
Sebastian Dolcine 6'4
Samuel Jackson 6'6
Julio Castillo 6'6

Tulane actually still had their starters in on that last drive. MM was missing (overthrowing or not seeing) his receivers all night. MM also still has issues pulling the ball back from the hand-off and isn't opting to run as often as he should be.

Holman has had issues, but isn't making many of the same mistakes the freshman is. MM still has a lot to learn at this level.

I recall how Nebraska had nearly all redshirt senior on both lines, with redshirt juniors ready to take their place then following year. Those sports machines just reload each year. That's one reason GOL's dependence on great lines resulting in alternating winning and losing season (even Penn State suffered from GOL's problem because Joe insisted his players be smart enough to graduate, too).

I still think that if coach mixes holman into the offense, we would have an advantage the rest of this year.
To what end?
We're not really in the running for a conference championship (Temple would need to lose to Tulane AND ECU). Even if we don't win another game, we'll likely go to a bowl game with 5 wins because of our APR. So what is to be gained by playing Holman instead of getting MM more experience?

Players have enough trouble implementing Frost's offense without shuffling in and out a guy who uses up the full clock, has a different cadence, and won't be here after this month.

Recruiting advantages! It's easier to recruit at 9-5 than at 5-9 after a bowl game.

No.., we aren't gong 9-5 and there's no clear evidence based on a garbage time drive that Holman is going to win anymore games than Milton. Actually, it's probably the opposite. Did you see his performance vs ECU??? It wasn't great and ECU isn't good on defense.

We are recruiting just fine. We aren't going to go 5-9 and will likely make a bowl. Also it's mathematically impossible to go 5-9.

I actually agree with knight_classes. Both QB's bring something different to the table. And when one has trouble, the other usually picks up. This also causes defenses knightmares because they have to prepare for 2 different styles. Also, experience is learned by playing AND WATCHING. MM could learn a few things from Holman still. By the way, Holman drove 80 yards in 2 minutes.... just sayin'.
