The top 10 Group of Five teams from the last 10 years

Spurier just handed off the ball in the second half as our defensive backfield was special that season as well. Our line was getting pressure on the QB but couldn't handle the straight on push of USC large OL.

Yup, Spurrier was smart in that 2nd half. He was too fancy in the first with all the passing. Probably wanted to run up the score, but wised up in the 2nd half. He knew he had the better O'line and Connor Shaw the running QB, and their RB took control of the game. Game over.

That's about how it happened. Throw in a bad double pass and a pick by Bortles on a long throw down the middle.

Connor Shaw was actually knocked out of the game by Plummer. The 2nd team QB actually did more damage than Shaw would have. We were just too small in the front 7 and the DBs took a bad angle when Mike Davis took one to the house.

That's why I think that this team's front 7 is one of the biggest that we have had. It might help vs teams like GT and Maryland

10-0 at halftime but South Carolina quickly shifted to the run game to start the second half and pretty much just ran straight down the field. Just overpowered by the run.

I wonder if Boise regrets not going into the AAC now? they haven't done much since backing out.....
