They told him to "drop the gun" 23 times before he began to switch hands it was in.Easily could have neutralized the threat some other way. He was following orders.
Yall got this
... he says after defending somebody who just commit armed robbery lmaoYeah, so you vastly overestimate the intelligence of some of the people here. I have no doubt we will have inbred morons showing up defending this murder.
... he says after defending somebody who just commit armed robbery lmao
So they are responding to an armed robbery here yes? I just want to establish this since no one has yet and of course opinions are flying regardless
give it up, retard. its obvious you're only defending some lunatic walking around with a gun becaise he's black.Of course you are lying yet again. NC is an open carry state, he was allowed to carry the gun and was murdered for it. His crime was "giving the employees an uneasy feeling" Insane.
Source: "Charlotte-Mecklenberg Police said officers responded to a report of an armed man at a business Monday. Images from the scene show a heavy police presence surrounding a Burger King.
Chief Kerr Putney says employees reported the man gave them an "uneasy feeling." He says the man walked outside, where officers ordered him to drop the gun. Putney says one officer perceived a "lethal threat" and shot the man, who was taken to a hospital and died."

This. And was his gun holstered or was he carrying it in his hand? Makes a big difference on the level of perceived threat IMO. Regardless, there were multiple cops on the scene prior to the one who shot him almost immediately after arriving, so if they hadn't done the same thing then you have to question her actions. So was he robbing the fuking place or not?
Hard to understand the thought process that leads to these situations. He may be completely innocent, but if you know that you are innocent in a situation like this where deadly force is a possibility then why act provocatively? There is context to this and too early to pass judgment on anything other than the officer going way too far.(the following in no way exonerates the cop)
Was he conversing with any of the cops? I wonder if there is other body cam footage. It looks like he is just squatting next to the car and completely ignoring what they keep yelling at him. If that's me, I am talking back to the cops telling them I am putting the gun on the ground, one hand is going in the air, please don't shoot me, I am not going to make any jerky movements toward them, please don't shoot, etc.
Terrible situation.

He appeared frozen to me which could very easily happen with guns pointing at you
I literally just posted the answer to this, with a source.
I was just curious why the 3 people above your post seemed so sure it was armed robbery.
You're really curious about why they said it was a robbery?I was just curious why the 3 people above your post seemed so sure it was armed robbery.
What was provocative? My impression was the same as bt's
The guy was doing something that led to that many officers being at the scene. If he was just walking around with a gun and minding his own business then I can't see things being escalated to this point.
It's an open carry state--but, of course, that's meant to pertain to White wanna-be Rambos, not Black men. Everybody should know that, right?
When a Black man is spotted with a gun, that's immediately 'suspicious' and is going to result in a call to the police followed by an all-points rush to Burger King by the city's on-duty officers.
What is crystal clear when you watch the video is that:
1) the man is in an open, vulnerable, squatting position outside his car. I'm no police guy, but I'd imagine that's not a position you'd normally associate with a guy who's ready to take out a bunch of police officers.
2) After shouts to drop his weapon, what's the scared-sh*tless guy do? He reaches for his gun and drops it as Ms. Rambo kills him. Again, I'm no law enforcement trainer, but why not say, "Hands above your head," and THEN disarm him?
I don't believe the death was in any way premeditated, but it's a clear case of unprofessional police bungling. In today's world, there's no place for
Just a question: how do you know he's scared shitless? Because from the video, he seems like he kind of doesn't give a shit after the officers ask him numerous times to put the gun down. It's almost like he's deaf.

You don’t have a clue what you’re talking about if you believe I said the woman cop is a cold blooded killer.I like how you twice admit that you haven't a single clue what you're talking about yet, then go on to determine that this is clearly a case of racism, the woman cop is a cold blooded killer, and that you can absolutely tell that he was "scared shitless".
You don’t have a clue what you’re talking about if you believe I said the woman cop is a cold blooded killer.
If you rewatch, he literally had 25 commands to drop his gun before his weird shuffling it around maneuver. In the video alone he had about 7-8 commands to drop the gun, none of which he even responded to. No reaction at all.
You just blatantly made up that the black dude had just robbed a BK and you're still in this thread? Bold.I like how you twice admit that you haven't a single clue what you're talking about yet, then go on to determine that this is clearly a case of racism, the woman cop is a cold blooded killer, and that you can absolutely tell that he was "scared shitless". You must have The Gift to know all of this is absolute fact.
Let's recap: she arrives and there are already cops with guns drawn on this guy and she was clearly brought in as backup. It's therefore very possible that these first officers approached the guy responding to the initial call, were intent on asking questions and engaging with the guy, and he then went into this weird crouch and refused to listen to any orders.
In the video alone he had about 7-8 commands to drop the gun, none of which he even responded to. No reaction at all. If a cop arrives to a scene where other officers have their guns drawn in a standoff with someone and that person is crouching weirdly while refusing to listen to commands, that's a lot of red flags going off. "Why didn't she just say hands above the head and disarm him". Uhhhhh probably because he wasn't listening to a single command given to him? And how do you know the officers already on the scene didn't already attempt that?
Also I can't fully tell but his firearm does not appear to be on a holster. It looks like he takes it either from his jacket or he was actually holding it.
You just blatantly made up that the black dude had just robbed a BK and you're still in this thread? Bold.

85, you can only become sexually aroused when you get absolutely furious yes?I asked the question, moron. Did you see that "?" at the end of my question in that post? And then I said that this should be established before opinions start flying.
Christ, it's like you people don't even try to read or comprehend anymore.
No he didn't
