Trump tax plan

We ignored it because we were talking about how wages and wealth for 90+% of the population has been stagnant for 35 years and you think we should double-down on that same policy. Your cherry picked statistic adds nothing to the conversation, but you're such a moron you think you showed us.
Ok, you're Supreme Ruler for a day. What changes do you make to change that 35 year wage stagnation? I'm honestly interested about your ideas rather than your criticism.

LOL

Um, dipshit….Your entire argument this whole time has been that we must tax people MORE to get wages for poor ol’ 90% of America to increase. In your warped little word, more taxes must = rising wages. Using your logic, Federal Revenue is all important. Cutting taxes is simply not an option since it will reduce federal receipts drastically! People will die in the streets!

So I then presented actual, factual evidence that your premise is a wad of horseshit. And you respond with this. Typical.

As a share of GDP, we often had periods of MORE revenue than in years when we had obscene tax rates that you’re clamoring for now.

We are spending more on entitlements and welfare than any country ever has in the history of the world. And this spending will only increase more and more and more over time unless someone in Government grows balls to slow it. If you’re upset with wage growth then maybe you should attempt to formulate an argument that doesn’t sound like it came from a petulant 16 year old Bernie Sanders fanboy.

Meanwhile, Connecticut is about to experience an unexpected $500 million additional shortfall. Their Governer's office has attributed it to the failing tax the rich policies that enacted tax increases twice in the last 6 years. So some of those rich left. How are they proposing to solve it? Cutting spending. Finally.

It's almost as is gouging wealthy tax payers just creates incentive for them to leave!

“The precipitous drop in revenue we experienced in late April creates major challenges for the state throughout the remainder of this fiscal year and into the next biennial budget we are currently working on,” Office of Policy and Management Secretary Ben Barnes said Monday. “We need to take immediate action to reduce spending between now and June 30 to reduce our current year deficit as much as possible to prevent the need to borrow to meet expenses.”

The revenue from Connecticut’s top 100 taxpayers was down 45 percent, according to budget analysts.

Personal income tax revenues were down $450 million from projections.

More specifically, a majority of the decline in the income tax receipts is from the withholding and finals portion of the tax, which is tied to capital gains and investment income. That part ended up being down 8.9 percent"

Wait- it gets better. The Democrats in CT have a solution to the wealthy leaving their state due to tax gouging- tax them more!

"While insisting they remain very sensitive to the economic risks posed by another state income tax increase, House Speaker Joe Aresimowitz, D-Berlin, said Tuesday he would not rule out another hike — including one on wealthy households — given the massive deficits projected for state finances."

This is too hilarious. Here we have a northeast liberal state that has done exactly what chemmie is crying for, yet their tax revenue base is drying up and they are running massive deficits thanks to the wealthy fleeing the state. And just like chemmie, the mindless morons in CT are clamoring to tax these people even more. Which will only hit their revenue base again.

According to the left, this is of course Fake News. Since taxing wealthy people always, always yields more tax revenue and happy times for everyone!
