Tulane just won in 4OTs on a 2-pt conversion: AAC finish 7-4

Basically we won 7 games against inferior competition, and lost every game against P5 teams. A lackluster effort to say the least. At least we won the games we should win.
Except for the Cincy game, it was AAC's worse teams that pulled out games consistently. And the wins were by large to enormous margins, even by a certain Orlando school that went winless last year. I find it funny that before the FIU game, the same people discounting HOW we won were very cautiously optimistic. I said, "bet the farm" and your first born.
The things to come away with was that everyone but the Gatorade guy had meaning playing time in this laugher, and that except for the second possession, players proved they can finally play Frost's system going into conference season. The FIU TV team were impressed how they picked things up so early in the season. Why weren't you?
Lol the only loss that mattered was Va Tech wiping out ECU with UConn's loss a close second. Did anyone really want South Florida to beat FSU? While not as good as last year, our OOC victories against the P5 isn't so bad. We got wins across the board. The conference isnt just Houston and the rest.
The AAC is like my old tennis partner back in college: he was last singles guy on the tennis team, so anyone who wanted to make the team had to beat him. If a school can beat AAC teams, then they are respectable/formidable.
